EN→ITThe Lenovo ThinkPad L14 Gen 4 (Intel) is a solid offer in its class. The comfort under load is good – the fan is quiet and the chassis doesn’t become unbearable hot to the touch during heavy CPU loads. Speaking of which, the cooling looks modest but the optional Core i7-1355U can maintain high frequencies even in prolonged periods of 100% stress – great! The spill-resistant keyboard is cozy enough for long hours of work and the touchpad is smooth and accurate. Just don’t forget that the backlight is optional. The I/O features a surprising amount of ports for the price class – four USB ports, an HDMI 2.1, and a LAN. You can also opt for an optional optional Smart Card reader and 4G connectivity. The 14″ 1080p IPS display (BOE NV140FHM-N4U (LEN40A9; BOE08D6)) doesn’t disappoint thanks to its wide viewing angles and lack of PWM usage. It’s not the most color-accurate unit in the world but that’s kind of normal for this price point.
