Samsung al momento non ha però voluto compiere un passo in più nella dotazione del Galaxy A52 che appare, soprattutto in questa versione 4G, leggermente indietro rispetto ai competitor sul processore: tutti ormai offrono 5G e processori più potenti anche ad un prezzo più basso. Nel registro delle assenze segnaliamo la compatibilità dello schermo con l’HDR, incomprensibile visto che l'OLED ha una luminosità elevata e il supporto ai file audio ad alta risoluzione, c'era il jack e ci stava. Mancano ricarica wireless e integrazione del sistema DeX, ma resta pur sempre un telefono che oggi si compra a 249 euro, e ha stabilizzatore ottico e waterproof. A questo prezzo non c'è telefono che tenga confronto, soprattutto se qualcuno guarda al rapporto qualità prezzo e all'investimento.

Samsung “picchia duro” sulla fascia media e sforna un medio di gamma di tutto rispetto, A52 costa 379€ ed ha caratteristiche tecniche di livello, a partire dalla quadrupla fotocamera stabilizzata, opzione spesso non presente in questa fascia, il display è un ottimo super amoled, ben definito e contrastato, processore Snapdragon, e i risultati si vedono sia sulla fluidità che sull’autonomia, oltre una giornata abbondante con uso intenso, molto bene anche ricezione audio e parte ludica, insomma promosso a pieni voti.

Met de Galaxy A52 heeft Samsung er alles aan gedaan om een nieuw verkoopsucces klaar te stomen, en dat is ook meer dan verdiend. De A52 voelt niet radicaal anders aan dan zijn voorganger, maar Samsung heeft op verschillende vakken wel de puntjes op de 'i' gezet waar de A51 nog tekort schoot ten opzichte van concurrenten. Het toestel is verfijnder, en de verbeteringen voelen weldoordacht aan. De A52 is nog steeds niet op elk individueel aspect sterker dan zijn concurrenten. Hij heeft niet het meest verfijnde design, de sterkste prestaties of de allerbeste camera. Ik vind ook dat Samsung niet de meest uitmuntende software heeft die je kan vinden, maar het bedrijf slaagt er wel in om alles op zijn minst goed te doen. Zo'n sterk totaalplaatje zal je bij weinig andere toestellen ontdekken, en daar zit dan ook de kracht van de Samsung Galaxy A52, want dit is een zo'n telefoon die 90 procent van de smartphonegebruikers erg tevreden zal stellen, zonder dat er duidelijke problemen tegen het hoofd stoten.

Sono quindi sicuramente due prodotti validi ma quale dei due dovreste comprare? Difficile dirlo, dipende da quanto è per voi importante poter accedere al 5G. Io non spenderei questi 80-100 euro in più per una funzione che sinceramente allo stato attuale non penso possa fare tutta questa differenza. L'unica condizione che potrebbe farmi cambiare idea è data dalla frequenza con cui sostituite lo smartphone, se questa supera i 24 mesi allora potrebbe aver senso puntare sul 5G; nel frattempo spero che i produttori abbiano smesso di proporre tutti questi modelli praticamente identici.

Insomma, come potete vedere ce n’è per tutti i gusti e soprattutto per tutte le tasche. Noi abbiamo testa la versione 4G con 6GB di RAM e 128GB di storage, che ha un costo di circa 310 euro: a parer mio il prezzo è ben giustificato da un sistema ben ottimizzato, un display ed una fotocamera ben sopra la media ed un’autonomia molto soddisfacente. Peccato per il comparto fotografico un po’ sotto le aspettative, ma rimane un’ottima alternativa per chi cerca un dispositivo – magari proprio uno smartphone Samsung – che sia ben equilibrato e dallo stile affascinante. Samsung Galaxy A52 è uno smartphone di fascia media che mancava. E forse non ci saremmo aspettati che sarebbe stata Samsung a realizzarlo per prima. Racchiude tutti i fondamentali come dovrebbero essere (batteria, display e fotocamere) e ci aggiunge tanti dettagli spesso assenti altrove. NFC e memoria espandibile in primis, ma poi soprattutto impermeabilità, fotocamera stabilizzata otticamente e schermo a 90 Hz.

For us, the Samsung Galaxy A52 is a good all-rounder smartphone. It has a decent quality on its camera and it just needs optimization. It also has average gaming performance even though the chipset isn’t capable of connecting to 5G. But the best offering is the display and the aesthetic and pleasing look which is great for entertainment use. 100 Days Review: We haven’t encountered any issues for around 3 months of use, and the device is stable and working fine as a daily driver. I won’t recommend the device if you are aiming for a mid-range gaming-focused smartphone, but if you are looking for a long-term device with the promise of android support for more than a couple of years, this will be a great option. Samsung Galaxy A52 is priced at P18,990 for the same 8GB + 128GB configuration. For the price, it really offers value with a couple of drawbacks but with strong upsides. The increments compared to its predecessor is very notable and worthy.

For that hundred bucks, you're getting an overhauled design, a better processor, more RAM, faster display, and IP67 water resistance (the A51 didn't have any official rating). That's a lot of improvement. In the grand A-series tradition, the A52 is another competent mid-range Samsung phone in a long line of competent mid-range Samsung phones. But I would've liked to see some tweaks to either hit a lower price or allocate more budget to the A52's weaker points — dropping the two useless camera modules and swapping out the 120Hz panel for a 90Hz one, for instance.

In sum, the Galaxy A52 is a good device overall, but one that could have been better. That statement can actually be applied to anything and everything, but Samsung could have done well to include a faster processor, and some basic essentials like a 25W charger (since the phone supports it), and a case in the box. The 5G version of the Galaxy A52, which hasn’t been launched in India yet, does come with a 5G-capable Snapdragon 750G SoC and a 120Hz display, which are specs that sound much better on paper as compared to what the 4G version of the Galaxy A52 offers. When it comes to rivals, the Galaxy A52 goes up against the likes of the OnePlus Nord (review), the Xiaomi Mi 10T, the Mi 10i (review), and others in its price segment. Each of these devices has its own set of pluses and minuses, and in most cases, offers better performance than the Samsung Galaxy A52. On the other hand, the Galaxy A52 does feature IP67 waterproofing, which could appeal to a fair chunk of prospective buyers.
