For the past few years, it felt like Samsung had lost its competitive edge in the foldable phone segment, letting Chinese brands like Honor and Oppo hog all the innovation limelight. With the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Samsung has delivered a solid knockout punch. It's not overwhelmingly the best foldable phone pound for pound, but it's pretty close to the summit. For the shoppers in the Western markets, including the US, there simply isn't a better choice. It's an exquisite piece of hardware that puts Samsung back in the game, and with plenty of substance to vouch for it. Samsung's software is rich in meaningful features, and it doesn't disappoint when it comes to raw performance chops, display quality, or camera prowess.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 finally feels like a leap, not because it reimagines the foldable phone, but because it refines it with surgical precision. The Fold 7 landed in India at a hefty Rs 1,74,999, and is Samsung’s slimmest Fold yet, shaving millimetres off both the hinge and frame, and for the first time, the closed device actually feels like a phone, not a paperback notebook. But like last year, Samsung’s foldable doesn’t arrive alone. Vivo’s X Fold 5, launched just days after, is cheaper by Rs 25,000. And suddenly, the conversation shifted, not about what foldables can do, but about which one should be your next everyday phone. Because that’s where we are now. Foldables are no longer futuristic tech flexes. They’re practical, premium smartphones that have to justify their price not just with specs, but with polish.

Samsung has the best and the thinnest foldable phone on the market right now. The phenomenal response that the company has received from the market shows that customers recognize the value proposition and are willing to spend their money on Samsung's most expensive phone. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is a strikingly beautiful phone with durable build quality and flagship specifications. You can nit-pick and find things to dock points for. Perhaps you dislike not having S Pen support, or you feel that the cameras aren't flagship enough. The downgrade in speaker quality is also a let-down. If you’re coming from a Galaxy Fold 4 or earlier, the Fold 7 will feel like a massive upgrade. The change in form factor also makes it easier to handle than the Fold 5 or 6. In those cases, however, performance upgrades feel more incremental, and the software upgrades… well, you’ll probably get those eventually. When a smartphone starts at R50,000 or thereabouts, it’s got to be something special to convince you to part with the cash or sign that contract. Samsung’s Fold 7 is certainly special enough to make you consider it, at the very least, but it’s a tougher call if you were previously convinced in 2023 or 2024. The major issue fixed this time around is the camera, which constitutes a must-buy upgrade for a certain user. There will be more of those than there will be of folks miffed about the departure of the S Pen. Samsung will probably sell a bunch of these handsets, and rightly so — for the folks who can afford one.

I feel confident in saying that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is both the best foldable on the market, and also probably doesn’t make sense for most people. It’s thin, it has large screens, its cameras have few compromises, and finally, it’s a foldable that looks, stores, and handles like a regular phone while it’s closed. This phone can go toe-to-toe with its non-folding brethren when it comes to pocketability and photos, and that’s worth celebrating. But it also starts at $2,000, which is $700 more than Samsung’s best non-folding phone. And for that higher price, you get a smaller battery and a main screen that you might not be able to get much use out of. If all you’re looking to do is open a few apps side-by-side, or have more screen space while reading a book or browsing the internet, the Z Fold 7 will give you a great experience.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 is a stunning achievement. It is, without a doubt, Samsung’s most technically sophisticated handset yet, and a quantum leap over its predecessors. Obviously, what stands out the most is its Z Fold7’s ultra-thin and light design, which allows Samsung’s feature-rich software and broad ecosystem to truly shine, and finally brings a competitive book-style folding phone experience to the US market. Despite being a remarkable device overall, the Z Fold7 does fall short in a few areas, especially when compared to the Chinese competition. Battery life is middling at best, and charging speeds are slow by today’s standards. The Z Fold7’s telephoto configuration is lackluster, and zooming suffers because of it. Plus, without S Pen support, Samsung risks losing one of its most loyal audiences. Then there’s the Z Fold7’s weaker sustained performance.

Retailing for S$2,698 for the 256GB model, $2,878 for 512GB, and S$3,328 for 1TB, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is pretty expensive, especially when compared with the competition. It's S$150 more expensive compared from last year's model, too. But it does offer a great experience, and the smaller camera bump does feel nicer to me (at the cost of camera performance when zooming). But unless Samsung finds a way to bring down prices, it's going to find it tough going against its Chinese competition and their equally good folding phones. Get from Shopee or Lazada.

Let’s address the missing piece — S Pen support. Honestly? I didn’t miss it. If Samsung can’t find a way to store the stylus inside the phone without making it bulky again, I’m fine without it. That trade-off gave us a slimmer, lighter Fold7, and I’ll take that any day. This isn’t just the best foldable Samsung has ever made — it’s the most complete flagship in their entire lineup. I didn’t say “foldable flagship” for a reason. The Fold7 deserves to be spoken about in the same breath as any top-tier device, fold or not. It’s a design statement, a performance beast, a camera champ, and a productivity powerhouse. Every feature added here feels earned, not gimmicky. The only real downside is the price. The Fold7 starts at Rs 1,74,999 for the 256GB model, Rs 1,86,999 for 512GB, and Rs 2,16,999 for the 1TB variant that also gets 16GB RAM. That’s a steep ask. But if you can afford it, this isn’t just a tech toy anymore. It’s a serious, refined, foldable flagship that delivers where it matters.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 transforms a previously niche idea into a viable mainstream choice for high-tier, premium handsets. While candybar, single-screen phones are likely here to stay for the mass market, Samsung’s increasing foldable mastery could guide expectations for expensive devices in the future, since users typically expect more (or better) features when paying more money. What’s left is to shore up are the minor details (like making it IP68-rated, alongside the other upgrades mentioned) and making it cost as much as a normal phone for that transition to happen.

My main critique of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is its price. The phone starts at $2,000 for the 256GB model, making it one of the most expensive phones currently available in the US. When I told my friend this, he summed it up perfectly by comparing the cost to buying an iPhone 16 Pro and an iPad, and I couldn't argue with that logic. However, if you want a foldable phone right now, the Fold 7 is the best choice because of its improved versatility, as long as you're comfortable with its $2,000 price tag. In my opinion, it's the first foldable that truly makes sense as a replacement for your regular smartphone, and I think that's clear from the response it has received since its unveiling. That said, if you own a Fold 4 or Fold 5 and are considering an upgrade, the Fold 7 is a solid option.

Regurgitating what I've already said at the start, I'm more than impressed by the Galaxy Z Fold 7, and if you were on the fence about it, I'd say this is the year to potentially put those reservations at bay. Especially if you're after a 2-in-1 phone and tablet situationship. The phone is as smart as it gets and makes it high on my list of tech releases for the year, even despite some minor grievances. My main caveat still stands, though. It's an expensive beast and more fragile than a normal handset.I've personally been terrified of taking it around with me to test, more so than I would with any other regular phone. But if you put the quirks or concerns aside, it's undeniably an exciting phone to have.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is not just a phone. It's a flagship device, on top of being a next-gen tablet that fits in your pocket. In this video, we take an up-close look at Samsung's most ambitious foldable device yet: ultraslim, ultra-capable, now with a 200MP camera for the first time on a foldable!

The price is one thing that hasn't gotten better—in fact, it's moving in the wrong direction. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is even more expensive than last year's model at a cool $2,000. As slick and capable as this phone is, the exorbitant price ensures tablet-style foldables remain a niche category. If that's what it costs to make a foldable you'll want to carry, flat phones won't be usurped any time soon. If you don't mind spending two grand on a phone or can get a good deal with a trade-in or a carrier upgrade, you won't regret the purchase. This is the most power that can fit in your pocket. It's available directly from Samsung (in an exclusive Mint color), Amazon, Best Buy, and your preferred carrier.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 feels like the holy grail of foldable phones. It’s super thin and light, so it feels like a regular phone in your pocket. And yet, the new Fold packs a bigger 8-inch display when opened. Samsung also upgraded the camera system, including a 200MP main shooter and an ultrawide camera that takes much better macros. And having Gemini Live always at the ready is a game changer. The $2,000 price is super expensive — and Samsung ditched the S Pen — but overall this is the best foldable money can’t buy.

Any phone that starts at $2,000 deserves additional scrutiny, even if the cameras aren’t the main draw. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is as pricey a proposition as any smartphone can currently be. And while Samsung finally — finally — chose to throw customers a bone with a worthy main camera, it’s let down by both inconsistent processing and a very mediocre telephoto camera. You could argue shooting at 200-megapixels helps shore that up but the resolution only works best in the very same conditions the telephoto does well in. There’s a gap here that’s hard for any mobile photographer to reconcile. It’s high time Samsung realize it has a solid foundation of shooting modes and editing framework in this phone, yet lacks versatility in some key areas. Its total ignorance toward action photography seems shockingly aloof for a brand that pushed so many experimental photography features over the years.

The software update cycle is the most generous in the Android ecosystem, and the underlying durability concerns of foldable hardware have also been addressed to a large extent.

Overall, we really like the changes Samsung made to the Galaxy Z Fold7. It addresses most of the issues we had with the past models, such as the lackluster cameras and the thickness of the phone. On the Galaxy Z Fold7, the camera is a lot more capable now. Its slimmer size and bigger cover screen mean you don’t have to open up the main display that often, either. Not to mention, you also have the new features available with One UI 8.It’s still far from perfect with its lackluster battery life and audio quality. But we think it’s a step in the right direction. However, all of that comes with a high price, which is not to say the previous Galaxy Z Fold series were affordable. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 starts at PHP 112,990 for the 12GB + 256GB variant we’re using. If you want the 12GB + 512GB variant, that retails for PHP 120,990.

Tangible hardware upgrades to Samsung phones have been in short supply over the past couple of years, so the Galaxy Z Fold 7 was a pleasant surprise. Alongside the improved processor, we have a design that rivals non-folding flagships for weight and slimness, an excellent new main camera and larger, sharper displays. The other side of this coin is that some features have been jettisoned to squeeze these upgrades into the skinny new package. Dropping S Pen support feels like a mistake when the big display feels so naturally suited to its use, and Honor will have the edge on dust and water resistance when its IP58/IP59-rated Magic V5 launches in a few weeks. With Honor nearly matching Samsung on software support, camera quality, design and performance, ditching the S Pen feels like giving away one of Samsung’s few advantages over its closest (and likely cheaper) rival.

Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 7 feels significantly more mature than its predecessors. It eliminates the compromises consumers were once forced to accept in exchange for foldability: it's no longer noticeably heavier, thicker, or bulkier than a regular phone. The battery is large enough, performance is fast and cool, and the camera has seen a serious upgrade. The main drawback? While the device has gotten smaller and sleeker, the price has ballooned, starting at around $2,200 and climbing to $2,500. Last year, the Fold 6 started at $2,100, and that was already $150 more than the Fold 5. What does this signal for Fold 8 pricing? In terms of features and performance, the Fold 7 is easy to recommend, you really do get a sleek smartphone with bonus capabilities. But in terms of price, it depends on the depth of your pockets, the state of your bank account, and whether you can get a good trade-in deal.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 marks a massive shift in focus for Samsung, as it finally introduced a new design for its flagship foldable phone. Samsung improved the weakest links of its book-style foldable with the Galaxy Z Fold 7, and the result is a near-perfect phone. I'd love for it to have a bigger battery and a better zoom camera -- the Vivo X Fold 5 has both -- but Samsung's foldable has U.S availability, longer software support, and a better user interface. In short, this is the most polished folding phone experience, in my opinion. However, it doesn't come cheap. After a $100 price bump, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is Samsung's most expensive Fold yet, starting at $2,000. If you can spend that amount on a smartphone, you can't go wrong with this phone. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is a massive upgrade over its predecessor. It’s now so slim and lightweight that you could easily mistake it for a bar phone. Using it folded down feels incredibly natural, and unfolding it gives you a luxurious, tablet-like experience with exceptionally slim bezels. The crease is much, much shallower, it’s quicker, and the cameras have had a healthy upgrade, too. Combined with Samsung’s slick, speedy OS and advanced AI tools, it’s a powerhouse for mobile productivity and content creation. That said, there’s still room for improvement. The sustained performance isn’t great for intense gaming, and the battery capacity and charging speeds are far from impressive. Battery issues aside, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Galaxy Z Fold 7. This might surprise a few, but I actually intend to continue using this device until the Pixel 10 lineup arrives. It’s that fun to use. While I do wish the battery wouldn’t cause me so much stress, the camera system has gotten the love it deserved and the fact that I can open the phone and enjoy that big tasty display makes it worth it to me. Plus, nothing beats the feeling of people being envious of what I’m running. Silly iPhone owners, indeed. If you currently own a Z Fold device, there is little doubt to me that this phone is worth the upgrade. The hardware has gotten all of the upgrades that we dreamed about when foldables were still a new thing. Even coming from a Z Fold 5 or 6, this phone feels much better than those while in hand. By being so much thinner, lighter and normal-sized when shut, it feels just like a regular handset. Open it up and the internal screen is the best on a foldable yet. The crease is virtually gone, it is bright, crisp and makes the most of multitasking. The camera sticks miles out the back but generally doesn’t get in the way except to make the phone wobble on a table – a compromise worth making for a top-quality camera system. In many ways, this is the greatest foldable Galaxy yet. Gaming on the likes of Wuthering Waves is a superb experience, while that large internal display is a great way to enjoy comics or multi-task on the move. However, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 still lags behind rivals in a couple of ways. I prefer the Open Canvas method of multi-tasking, while the Samsung Fold 7 struggles to serve up a full day of battery life. That capacity hasn't increased at all, so I was scraping the dregs on a number of days before heading to bed. That's where the Honor Magic V5 and Vivo Fold X5 certainly win. Likewise, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 charges slowly and OneUI 8 isn't quite as lovable as ColorOS. And while the camera tech is pretty good, that heavy processing does impact snaps. Look past these flaws, however, and the Samsung Fold 7 is an impressive piece of hardware, at a price.

It's a good sign when you become so used to a phone's design that you forget how extraordinary it really is. That's certainly been the case with the Z Fold 7. This phone's thinness, paired with its wider cover screen, makes it feel wonderfully normal when closed, and the inside display has become my go-to way to watch movies and multitask. It's great that the camera and battery didn't end up being the trade-offs I was bracing myself for with that slimmer build, and the phone feels surprisingly durable. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before more companies take a page out of Samsung's book and slim down their phones, too. (Looking at you, Apple.) .. The Z Fold 7 design nails the dimensions we wanted: an 8-inch tablet-like screen, a 6.5-inch Cover Screen, and a folded size that’s somehow thinner than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Samsung has achieved quite a feat with the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Yes, it's a spectacularly thin phone, but an even greater accomplishment is that using both the cover and main display on this book-style foldable finally feels like an almost perfect experience. Almost. I spent a week scrolling, snapping photos and texting on Samsung's new premium foldable, and it really was a "feeling is believing" experience. Because the Z Fold 7 is only 8.9mm thick when closed and 4.2mm when open, it's not clunky in either configuration. (For comparison, last year's Z Fold 6 was 12.1mm thick when closed and 5.6mm when open. That makes the new foldable phone just a bit thicker than the 7.2mm Galaxy S25 when closed.) The generous 6.5-inch cover screen means I hardly feel the need to pry the phone open and use the more sprawling internal display – even though that's kind of the whole point. And snapping photos on this foldable doesn't feel like a compromise, thanks to an impressive triple camera system that includes a 200-megapixel sensor.

Samsung is back in the game with this year's foldable. Sure, there are still some missteps, such as the battery life, charging rate, the omission of the S Pen, the lackluster telephoto camera, and the absence of Dolby Vision support, if anyone cares. However, the Z Fold7 excels in other areas, providing a much better main camera, nice ultrawide, better internal selfie cam, larger displays with better aspect ratios and offers one of the thinnest and lightest designs in the segment. These upgrades alone make the Z Fold7 much easier to recommend than its predecessors. Moreover, the handset is entitled to 7 major OS upgrades while launching with Android 16 out of the box. It looks like Samsung has performed better under pressure from the rising competition in the last few years. The Galaxy Z Fold7 proves that the Korean tech giant still has it.

Assuming you have lots of expendable income or a solid trade-in device, this is the year to get a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. It’s finally (mostly) the folding phone we always wanted with a normal aspect ratio outer display, much thinner and lighter design and a 200MP main camera that doesn’t scream compromise. The phone runs Android 16 with Samsung’s OneUI on the Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite processor with up to 1TB storage, has the usual tele and ultrawide angle lenses, a better inner selfie camera and a supposedly even more durable inner display.

The Z Fold7 is an incredible device. It’s the best foldable phone I’ve ever used and the first which could tempt me to switch to it full-time. I did that with the Z Fold6 for three months, and it feels like the frustrations that led me back to the iPhone simply don’t exist anymore. However, it is still an expensive phone, and the removal of S-Pen support will bother some. But even when combined with the issues I’ve noted above, I don’t think there’s enough to call the Z Fold7 anything other than a triumphant release for Samsung. Foldables are still a niche part of the market, but that’s partly why I love them; they’re interesting among a sea of very good-but-bland smartphones. I appreciate I haven’t spoken about performance or AI in this review, but that’s because both are virtually a moot point in Samsung land.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is so thin and light that, combined with its larger cover screen, you could easily mistake it for a standard flagship. There's a larger 8-inch display inside, and all this, plus the new camera system – the main camera finally gets a 200MP sensor – make this the most desirable Z Fold yet. It's a shame though that it's also the most expensive Fold to date for some – and that, ultimately, may hold it back.

Thinner and lighter than today's flagship phones with two screens instead of one, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is Samsung's crowning achievement, blending top-notch hardware and software into a sturdy, slick, high-quality phone that's easy and enjoyable to use. It's drop-dead gorgeous, with killer displays, top performance, excellent connectivity, and some of the most advanced software of any phone available. The updated Galaxy AI tools are merely icing on a rich cake. Yes, it'll cost you at least $2,000 and the battery life could be improved, but somehow it still provides incredible bang for the buck. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 easily earns our Editors' Choice award for foldables and if it's in your price range, it should be at the top of your list.

I've always said that Samsung is at its best when it focuses on hardware design, and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may be one of the best examples of that. With its latest flagship foldable, Samsung has removed one of the remaining barriers preventing people from trying out the new breed of phones: excessive size and weight. By widening its cover display, the Z Fold 7 looks and acts just like a regular smartphone, which is great for checking messages, looking up directions or snapping a photo. When you want to get really immersed in a show, movie or game, you can open up that beautiful flexible display, which is now even larger for your viewing pleasure. The phone’s higher-res main camera also brings upgraded image quality while its Snapdragon 8 Elite chip gives it a performance edge over rivals like the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

Unequivocally, the answer is yes; you should buy the Galaxy Z Fold 7. It’s the first folding phone that can persuade people globally to try a folding phone, and this is a landmark folding phone that sets the benchmark for others to follow. It also proves that phones don’t always need the best specs, although I hope that Samsung does improve these compromises in the future. The battery could be better; the performance is solid, but unspectacular, and the cameras are a half-step up, not a full step ahead. Yet, it’s one of the few devices I’d recommend even if you own the Galaxy Z Fold 6. If these are not dealbreakers for you, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is the folding phone to buy. This is the next generation of folding phones, and crucially, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be available worldwide, unlike its competitors. The only real question is which Galaxy Z Fold 7 color you should buy.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 represents a solid step forward for Samsung's foldable devices. I love the fact that it's so much thinner, and the camera does represent a step forward over the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The phone is ultra-expensive though, and for many, too expensive. With more foldable launches on the horizon, it remains to be seen how long the Z Fold 7 can stay on top.

I’ve always believed in the benefits of a phone that unfolds into a tablet. It’s just the thickness and weight, and other concerns like durability and unavailability in the U.S., that have always stopped me from putting my money where my mouth is. The Z Fold 7 is more expensive than before, and $2,000 is a lot of money for a phone (the cost for repairs isn’t cheap either), but I’m obsessed with it, and thank god there are installment plans that break up the cost into monthly payments. I know my iPad mini, with iPadOS 26’s Liquid Glass developer beta installed, is missing me, but I just don’t care. The Z Fold 7 is my new gadget love, and I guarantee, it’ll be yours too if you can stomach the price.

Samsung knows better than most how hard engineering phones can be. Remember the explosive Galaxy Note 7? Part of the challenge is knowing what to leave out, and cutting a few features has arguably turned the Z Fold 7 into the best of the current foldable breed. Sure, the lack of stylus support might sting a little for the small minority that used an S Pen on older Folds. And battery is becoming a bit of a lead weight for Samsung phones in general. But the Z Fold 7’s svelte form, expansive screens and capable rear cameras otherwise bring it up to par. Feature-packed software and swift performance then make it very easy to live with indeed. Book-style foldables are still niche – the high price puts them out of reach for many – but the Galaxy Z Fold 7 just made them that little bit more mainstream.

I’ve spent nearly a week testing Samsung’s new Galaxy Z Fold 7, and one of the biggest questions I have about it is battery life. This $1,999 phone is one of the most expensive you can get in North America, competing with the likes of other flagship smartphones like the iPhone 16 Pro Max, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Samsung’s own Galaxy S25 Ultra. All of these phones have proven they can last all day on a charge - even Google’s Pixel 9 Pro Fold can. My question was whether the Z Fold 7 could keep up. After all, it comes with a 4,400mAh cell to power two large displays, a fast processor, and keep itself cool at the same time in a thin-and-light form factor. Seems impossible, right? Well, it’s kind of possible. While you can stretch it to get through a full day, that’s not always the case.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is far more than an iterative update, it's Samsung's arrival at the top of the folding phone game. The new proportions and slim design are a skilful balance that feels just right, while the main camera's upgrade can deliver S25 Ultra-beating results. There's no S Pen stylus support, which may be unforgivable for some upgraders, and the new design means hardened gamers might be left asking for more. For everyone else, however, this Galaxy is a flagship with the benefits of a foldable design – and little compromise.

Samsung has impressed me with the Z Fold 7, and while the price went up in the U.S., it’s a bit more affordable in Canada at $2,499. It’s still hard to recommend a smartphone that costs so much, but if there’s any phone worth this price tag, this might be it. Also, in Canada, the device is $50 cheaper than its predecessor, which is definitely a plus. There’s a lot I need to try out, such as the battery, the cameras, the processor, and more. However, with a thinner frame and wider body, I’m looking forward to reviewing the Z Fold 7.

The file folder screen lives on in a new member of the Flip lineup: the Z Flip 7 FE. It’s a lower-cost alternative to the $1,099 Z Flip 7 at… $899, which, sure, is less money. But it doesn’t feel cheap, and with a $699 alternative from Motorola, the FE feels a little forgettable. Here’s what I’m not forgetting anytime soon: picking up the Z Fold 7 for the first time. It was the same realization I had with the second-gen Pixel Fold: the “oh, this is how this phone is supposed to feel” moment. I just wish that “aha” moment came with a slightly lower price tag.

This is a pretty significant update for Samsung’s flagship folding phone and from what I’ve seen already I can tell our reviewer is going to absolutely love it. It’s the thinnest Fold yet and somehow Samsung has managed to keep build quality high while squeezing in some pretty enticing upgrades. Alas, Samsung is keeping the price ludicrously high, so this will remain a phone for the few, which is a shame. The base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is still £1,799, with 12GB and 512GB it rises to £1,899 and the top-end phone with 16GB and 1TB of storage is £2,149. But, perhaps, now that the manufacturing processes behind these exotic handsets has fully matured, and on this evidence it certainly seems as if it has, the next few years will see that price steadily come down. Here’s hoping.

Having created the current foldables market, Samsung has spent the last few iterations playing catchup as Chinese manufacturers started to out-design the Korean giant with slimmer models and even a tri-folding screen. But with the introduction of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, Samsung is finally ready to show who's the king. The new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is a stunner. At 8.9mm thick, it's on par with the the Oppo Find N5, and just slightly thicker than the just-announced Honor Magic V5 (8.88mm thick). Honestly, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is approaching the limits of how thin it can be, due to how phones have to accommodate the USB-C port. Of course, they can always skip the port entirely, and just go with wireless charging, but that's an altogether different story for another time.
