AMD ha introdotto per la prima volta le GPU Golden Rabbit Edition (o Great Radeon Edition) come schede esclusive per la Cina, a partire dalla Radeon RX 7900 GRE basata su Navi 31 nel luglio 2023.
Più tardi nello stesso anno, AMD ha introdotto anche la RX 6750 GRE basata su Navi 22 nelle varianti da 10 GB e 12 GB.
Mentre la RX 6750 GRE non è stata lanciata ufficialmente a livello globale, AMD ha portato la RX 7900 GRE in tutto il mondo con un MSRP di 549 dollari.
Ora, AMD sta ripetendo la storia con la nuova RX 9070 GRE basata su Navi 48. La scheda è stata lanciata originariamente in Cina nel maggio 2025, ma ora sarà disponibile a livello globale, a partire dallo stesso MSRP di 549 dollari della RX 9070.
