EN→ITThe 14-inch Slim 7i stands as one of my all-time favorite Windows laptops, and the Ultra Aura Edition (Gen 11) carries over much of what I valued in its predecessors. With Panther Lake, this ultra-lightweight PC lasts all day (and beyond), but I'd happily trade some of its battery life for the higher-end Core Ultra X7/X9 processors that Lenovo currently offers outside the US. With the Core Ultra 7 355, it'll still have tremendous appeal towards frequent travelers.

If you do shell out the cash required to grab one, you won't regret it, but if you're looking for something that's the ultimate value, this machine isn't it. It's beautiful, light, performant, and a superb example of what Panther Lake is capable of.

EN→ITIf you're set on getting a thin and light Windows laptop, you have better options. To name a couple, we really liked the Acer Swift Edge 14 -- and while it's not as light at the Slim 7 Ultra, it's close. But if you want my strongest recommendation, I'd have you consider the 2026 version of the ASUS Zenbook 14, which has the speedy ARM-based Snapdragon X2 Elite 18 core CPU in a package that weighs just tad more than this Lenovo and has much better battery life. But me? I'm sticking to Mac, but I will say that if this laptop had better performance, more ports, was less money and had a less reflective screen, the weight factor could compel me to buy one of these for personal use, but I wouldn't switch from my MacBook Pro. Overall, I find Windows much less satisfying to use than MacOS and so only if the notebook's hardware was extremely compelling would I switch — this comes close, but not close enough.

EN→ITThe question of "should you buy this laptop" is hardly a straightforward yes or no. For me, performance matters. I'm not going to drag-race this mid-range laptop basically ever, and the heaviest workload it's going to see is Photoshop, but on the odd chance I do open up Premiere Pro, choose to compile some code locally, or play the odd game, I don't want to be reminded that I bought a laptop that had a poorly refreshed architecture.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" dalla leggenda inglese, novo (latino) per nuovo) è stata fondata nel 1984 come società cinese di commercio di computer. Nel 2004, l'azienda era il più grande produttore di laptop in Cina e, dopo aver acquisito la divisione PC di IBM nel 2005, il quarto più grande al mondo. Oltre a desktop e notebook, l'azienda produce monitor, proiettori, server, ecc. ed è specializzata nello sviluppo, produzione e commercializzazione di elettronica di consumo, personal computer, software, soluzioni aziendali e servizi correlati.
Nel 2016, l'azienda si è classificata al primo posto al mondo nelle vendite di computer. Lo deteneva ancora nel 2023 con una quota di mercato globale di circa il 23%. Importanti linee di prodotti sono Thinkpad, Legion e Ideapad.

Intel Intel Graphics 4 Xe3 PTL: L'Intel Graphics 4 Xe3 è una scheda grafica integrata nei SoC Panther Lake con 4 core Xe3 (32 EUs / 512 ALUs), 4 core di raytracing e una frequenza di clock fino a 2450 MHz.
AMD Radeon 840M: Una iGPU con architettura RDNA 3.5 piuttosto potente che ha debuttato all'inizio del 2025 e che è il diretto successore della Radeon 760M. Le sue 8 CU/WGP (512 shader unificati) funzionano fino a 3 GHz. DX12 Ultimate, ray tracing, generazione di immagini AI e altre funzioni moderne sono tutte supportate, così come molti codec video popolari, tra cui in primo luogo AVC, HEVC, VP9 e AV1. Le sue prestazioni di gioco sono abbastanza buone per giocare a 2024 giochi con impostazioni grafiche basse.

Ultra 7 355: SoC mobile di fascia media a 8 core della famiglia Panther Lake con 4 core GPU Xe3. Come per Lunar Lake, la NPU 5 integrata offre 50 TOPS e ora offre il supporto per FP8.
AMD Strix / Gorgon Point:
Ryzen AI 5 430: Un SoC mobile di fascia media della famiglia di processori Gorgon Point. L'APU integra 4 core CPU (1x core Zen 5 con frequenza fino a 4,5 GHz e 3x core Zen 5c con frequenza fino a 3,4 GHz). Tecnicamente simile al vecchio Ryzen AI 5 330.
