The Huawei MatePad Air (2025) is a sleek and powerful Android alternative, launched in August 2025, designed for both work and play on the go. Right away, it comes with a 12-inch display that grabs your attention. It’s not just big, but also incredibly smooth with a 144Hz refresh rate and 2800 x 1840 pixels resolution. This ensures buttery-smooth scrolling and gaming, delivers up to 1000 nits of brightness for outdoor use, and supports HDR Vivid for immersive viewing. All of this is packed into a remarkably thin and light aluminum body, weighing just 555g and measuring under 6mm thick, making it a perfect travel companion. Under the hood, this tablet is built for performance. It runs on the latest HarmonyOS 5.0 and comes with a generous 12GB of RAM paired with your choice of 256GB or 512GB of storage.
