Honor 50 viene proposto a 529 Euro di listino, con 50 Euro di coupon se si preordina sul sito Honor da oggi fino all'11 novembre. La disponibilità è prevista dal 12 novembre anche nei negozi TIM, Vodafone, Wind Tre e su Amazon. Il prezzo di listino è un po' alto in relazione alle tante alternative già presenti sul mercato, c'è da considerare però che nelle prossime settimane ci sarà inevitabilmente un leggero calo, che posizionerà Honor 50 tra le migliori scelte per rapporto qualità/prezzo sulla fascia media. Lo smartphone ci è piaciuto molto, non ha punti deboli importanti e nell'usabilità quotidiana si è sempre dimostrato affidabile. Qualunque possa essere la sorte di Honor, lo smartphone arriva con i servizi di Google e li manterrà. Qualche dubbio in più semmai potrebbe esistere per gli aggiornamenti, ma anche qui, considerando che comunque le patch di sicurezza vengono garantite, non ci sono reali motivi per rinunciare al prodotto a prescindere.

Honor 50: il ritorno in grande stile (e con Google)! La recensione

Ci piace ritrovare nuovamente HONOR nel mondo degli smartphone. Ci piace perché la sua estromissione non era stata dettata da errori del produttore ma da una lotta (forse politica) tra nazioni. HONOR è comunque tornata e lo fa consapevole di quella che è la sua esperienza. Riparte con uno smartphone con del potenziale, di fascia media, ad un prezzo giusto ma soprattutto è pronta a dare vita in futuro ad un nuovo tipo di gamma di smartphone che non saranno più solo di fascia media per i più giovani ma anche di fascia premium per chi è più esigente. Ci piace anche per quella sua visione di smartphone creatori di contenuti. Ha un comparto fotografico interessante soprattutto con una varietà di modalità di ripresa video che di certo non possono far gola a chi di contenuti ne fa quotidianamente. E poi consuma poco con un potente processore Snapdragon 778G. E non è mai stanco con la possibilità di poterlo ricaricare in pochissimi minuti. Il prezzo è interessante anche se ci sarebbe piaciuta una HONOR più aggressiva già su questo suo primo smartphone del ritorno.

La versione 6/128GB costa 529 euro e la 8/256 599 euro. I prezzi di lancio invece sono rispettivamente di 459 e 499 euro e sì questi sono corretti. Bello, non gli ho trovato difetti, una bella rinascita di Honor con i servizi Google ma forse è venuto un' a mancare quel rapporto qualità prezzo che ha permesso ad Honor di diventare famosa in Italia. La qualità, comunque, c'è.

HONOR 50 è in definitiva un buon smartphone di fascia media proposto a 529 euro, cifra un po’ elevata (seppur abbia diversi punti su cui far leva) a causa di un segmento altamente competitivo e ricco di alternative. Chi lo acquisterà nei primi giorni dallo store ufficiale HiHonor c’è un interessante codice sconto ( AHIHONOR50 ) del valore di 50 Euro disponibile sia per la versione da 128 GB, che porta così il prezzo a 479 Euro, sia per la versione da 256 GB che porta il prezzo da 599 Euro a 549 Euro. Come detto si tratta di uno smartphone molto simile, esteticamente per lo meno, a Huawei Nova 9 ma con due principali vantaggi: la presenza dei servizi di Google e la compatibilità con la connettività 5G che, sempre di più, si sta diffondendo anche in Italia. Restano poi l’indiscussa qualità del brand, il software snello e reattivo (che verrà probabilmente ben presto rinfrescato graficamente) e un’ottima batteria. Fra i contro pesano l’assenza di una resistenza ad acqua e polvere (appannaggio di Galaxy A52s 5G ad esempio)

Il ritorno di Honor è positivo per tutto il settore. L’esperienza accumulata nel corso degli anni, e soprattutto il bagaglio tecnologico che si porta dietro, porterà sicuramente alla realizzazione di smartphone interessanti, come questo Honor 50. Al netto dei limiti dovuti al contenimento del costo finale, di 529 euro per il modello da 6/128 GB e di 599 euro per quello da 8/256 GB, le prestazioni offerte sono molto buone, inoltre lo schermo e soprattutto la durata della batteria sono valori aggiunti non da poco. La scelta di puntare su un design sinuoso e dal peso contenuto è un altro elemento positivo che va considerato in sede d’acquisto. Di contro abbiamo una sezione fotocamere tracotante di funzioni ma da sviluppare meglio, ricordiamo che Honor 50 è uscito ora e con i prossimi aggiornamenti la situazione non potrà che migliorare. Il sensore principale se la cava bene ma in alcune situazioni la mancanza della stabilizzazione si fa sentire, soprattutto nei video, in cui l’IA non sempre riesce a compensare i movimenti della mano.

I'm surprised that Honor has managed to keep the price so low on the Honor 50 because it's a great phone across the board. You get a stunning screen, a fantastic selfie camera, a decent main camera, speedy performance and excellent battery life - that's all packed into a slim handset that won't leave a huge dent in your pocket when you go out and buy one. That's not to say this phone is perfect, the OS won't be for everyone and while the design is beautiful, it does feel very fragile and it lacks water resistance, so you'll have to be very careful using it day-to-day. You also won't get wireless charging and there's no MicroSD card slot to expand the storage. Those are pretty much the only significant complaints I have though, overall the Honor 50 is incredible value for money and deserves its spot as one of the best Android phones you can buy if you don't want to spend too much.

I proposed that this phone may be a good option for those who are looking at a high-end mid-ranger like the OnePlus Nord 2 5G. I am going to cut to the chase for me the Nord 2 5G wins and there are two main reasons here the camera at night and the icon size in the UI. I will be honest I am a bit spoiled by the fact that I get to test and play with a lot of phones so I have very high expectations for this level of phone. On a personal note oi am glad to see Honor devices with google services back on board and I look forward to seeing what they come up with in the next couple of months with intrigue again which I didn’t think I would say again the last time I was at one of their events in the summer of 2019!!

The Honor 50 phone lineup was revealed Wednesday. After years of being written off outside of the Chinese market, there's a compelling reason to consider it. It's among the first in the series to have access to Google Mobile Services after having lost access in 2019 due to sweeping sanctions leveled by Donald Trump's administration at then-parent company Huawei. That all changed with Huawei's sale of Honor to an independent group of buyers last year, which let the phones regain access to GMS. Honor phones can now be equipped with the Google Play Store, Gmail and Google Maps. With the political drama out of the way (at least for the time being), I began testing the Honor 50 for about a week. I found it to be a midrange 5G phone with a lot of features that work well for its price. The phone has a 6.57-inch OLED display with a 120Hz high refresh rate, an impressive selfie camera, an ultra-fast 66W charger and stereo speakers, all at a price that's lower than comparable rivals like Samsung's Galaxy line.

So is it a welcome return? Well, we're super pleased that the phone has Google Services on board and, therefore, there's access to all your favourite apps via Google Play. The software, Magic UI 4.2, runs smoothly and doesn't feel too far removes from default Android. That familiarity is a good starting point. The familiarity between the Honor 50 and Huawei P50, however, is undeniable. And this kind of familiarity isn't necessarily such a good point. In the past we've loved Huawei phones, such as the P30 Pro. But with the step-change in consumer confidence in that brand, Honor still being seeming so closely attached may not send out the right kind of message. Then there's the Honor 50's screen. It's curved to the point of excess, really, which is visually impressive - but not especially practical. The rear cameras are also overbilled - stick to the main one rather thinking of it as a true quad setup.

The Honor 50 embodies the phrase “everything old is new again,” as despite Honor’s new beginning as an independent brand, the Honor 50 feels very familiar. The phone’s shape is basically the same as the Honor 30 Pro, just with a different camera model design. MagicUI 4.2 is the same as older versions of the software, except with Google added. Even the 66W SuperCharge feature is a carry-over from its Huawei days. Don’t take these as a negative; the fast charging is excellent, the software is reliable, and the design is modern and fun. But it does feel a little like business as usual for Honor, and I wanted to see something totally brand-new from the company. Maybe this will come later, and if so, the Honor 50 serves a great re-introduction to how the brand delivers competent, pretty, but not always outstanding smartphones. This lack of true newness presents one problem, though: during the time Honor has been away, the mobile market has changed, and there are a lot more phones around the same price as the Honor 50 that provide better value and ability.

That all changed with Huawei's sale of Honor to an independent group of buyers last year, which let the phones regain access to GMS. Honor phones can now be equipped with the Google Play Store, Gmail and Google Maps. With the political drama out of the way (at least for the time being), I began testing the Honor 50 for about a week. I found it to be a midrange 5G phone with a lot of features that work well for its price. The phone has a 6.57-inch OLED display with a 120Hz high refresh rate, an impressive selfie camera, an ultra-fast 66W charger and stereo speakers, all at a price that's lower than comparable rivals like Samsung's Galaxy line.

So is it a welcome return? Well, we're super pleased that the phone has Google Services on board and, therefore, there's access to all your favourite apps via Google Play. The software, Magic UI 4.2, runs smoothly and doesn't feel too far removes from default Android. That familiarity is a good starting point. The familiarity between the Honor 50 and Huawei P50, however, is undeniable. And this kind of familiarity isn't necessarily such a good point. In the past we've loved Huawei phones, such as the P30 Pro. But with the step-change in consumer confidence in that brand, Honor still being seeming so closely attached may not send out the right kind of message. Then there's the Honor 50's screen. It's curved to the point of excess, really, which is visually impressive - but not especially practical. The rear cameras are also overbilled - stick to the main one rather thinking of it as a true quad setup.

The current promotion makes it almost a must have but we’d still question the rationale behind a mono speaker and a USB 2.0 port. Once the freebie is gone though, things will get tougher.

The Honor 50 embodies the phrase “everything old is new again,” as despite Honor’s new beginning as an independent brand, the Honor 50 feels very familiar. The phone’s shape is basically the same as the Honor 30 Pro, just with a different camera model design. MagicUI 4.2 is the same as older versions of the software, except with Google added. Even the 66W SuperCharge feature is a carry-over from its Huawei days. Don’t take these as a negative; the fast charging is excellent, the software is reliable, and the design is modern and fun. But it does feel a little like business as usual for Honor, and I wanted to see something totally brand-new from the company. Maybe this will come later, and if so, the Honor 50 serves a great re-introduction to how the brand delivers competent, pretty, but not always outstanding smartphones. This lack of true newness presents one problem, though: during the time Honor has been away, the mobile market has changed, and there are a lot more phones around the same price as the Honor 50 that provide better value and ability.

The HONOR 50 is an overall adequate phone but its pricing may be a bit too high for what it offers. Regular everyday use is smooth but that’s a standard most 2021 mid-range phones can pass with flying colours. The premium that you’ll be paying for is most likely the 108MP camera which, while it may well make a noticeable difference for specific use cases, isn’t enough value for most people. The macro camera is just a gimmick while the phone’s glimmering design might not be for everyone. The 66W charging is great but many phones in this price range now offer that speed, some even faster. It’s a tough sell for those who are on a tight budget and those who can afford high-end phones. The best person to recommend this to is someone who might be looking for an expensive fashion accessory.

Per il lancio è in offerta sul sito Hi Honor a 299€ e si ottiene in omaggio anche la Band 6 (dal valore di 49€). Il suo prezzo secondo me è proprio 249€ mentre i 299€ secondo me sono troppi. Un telefono quindi che non entusiasma più di tanto se non per il fatto che Honor sia finalmente tornata come una nuova azienda e che speriamo riesca a tenere i prezzi abbastanza bassi da mantenere quel rapporto qualità prezzo che è stato capace di conquistare l'Italia in passato!

Honor:

La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata. Tuttavia, queste schede forniscono ancora abbastanza potenza per le applicazioni da ufficio e la proiezioni di video (ma non per i video HD).

Qualcomm Adreno 642L:

Chip grafico per smartphone e tablet che è integrato nel SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. Qualcomm sostiene che è il 40% più veloce dell'Adreno 620.

Queste schede grafiche per portatili non sono adatte al gaming. Anche se dovessero funzionare, ci sarebbero diversi errori grafici e un frame rate molto basso. Questi chips non sono affatto per i gamers! Applicazioni internet e da ufficio, invece non sono problematiche per queste GPUs.
