Priced at Rs 27,990, the VivoBook X507 flaunts a simple, minimalistic design and with an attractive LED screen, which did not cause a distraction due to the lack of reflectivity, which is impressive. However, when it came to actual performance, the laptop was barely usable, making it hard for me to recommend it to anyone.

The fingerprint sensor is fast and the keyboard makes it an enjoyable typing experience. That is about where the company seems to have realised they were running out of budget. Thus, a weak and older processor gives up when you put some pressure on it and the audio quality is a cop out. But, still, if you want a lightweight laptop that can give some good battery backup and if you are not a heavy user, then this device can be considered as an option.

Asus: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. è un importante produttore taiwanese di hardware per computer con sede a Taipei, fondato nel 1989. Con il marchio Asus, l'azienda produce un'ampia gamma di prodotti, tra cui laptop, desktop, schede madri, schede grafiche, monitor, smartphone e apparecchiature di rete , sistemi completi e componenti PC per utenti finali.
Con il marchio ROG (Republic of Gamers), ASUS produce laptop da gioco conosciuti dai giocatori per le loro potenti specifiche, schede grafiche dedicate, display ad alta frequenza di aggiornamento e sistemi di raffreddamento avanzati.
Oltre ai giochi, viene offerta un'ampia gamma di notebook per esigenze e budget diversi, dagli ultrabook ultrasottili e leggeri ai versatili convertibili 2 in 1 e alle opzioni economiche. Nel 2023, Asus deteneva una quota di mercato globale del 7% del mercato dei PC.
La soddisfazione del cliente per i notebook ASUS riguarda le prestazioni, le caratteristiche e il buon rapporto prezzo-prestazioni dei notebook ASUS. Tuttavia, come con qualsiasi marca, ci sono segnalazioni occasionali di problemi come surriscaldamento, compatibilità dei driver o problemi di qualità costruttiva.
Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.
Intel HD Graphics 520:
GPU integrata (GT2) con 24 EUs che si trova su alcuni modelli di CPU Skylake (serie ULV da 15 W).
NVIDIA GeForce MX130:
Scheda grafica di fascia media basata sull'architettura Maxwell. GeForce 940MX rinominata.
Intel HD Graphics 620:
GPU integrata (GT2, 24 EUs) che si trova su alcuni modelli di CPU Kaby-Lake-Refresh (15 W ULV series). Tecnicamente identica alla precedente GPU Kaby-Lake chiamata HD Graphics 620.
La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata. Tuttavia, queste schede forniscono ancora abbastanza potenza per le applicazioni da ufficio e la proiezioni di video (ma non per i video HD).
Intel UHD Graphics 600:
Adattatore grafico integrato di fascia bassa con supporto DirectX 12, che si trova in alcuni SoCs ULV della serie Gemini Lake. Rispetto all'HD Graphics 500, il 600 offre prestazioni di visualizzazione migliorate. Rispetto alla più veloce UHD Graphics 605, la 600 offre meno shader a velocità di clock inferiori.
Intel UHD Graphics 605:
Adattatore grafico integrato di fascia bassa con supporto DirectX 12, che si trova in alcuni SoC ULV della serie Gemini Lake. Rispetto all'HD Graphics 505, il 605 migliori uscite display.

Intel Core i3:
6006U:
Processore Skylake-based ULV dual-core per notebooks ed ultrabooks sottili. Offre una GPU HD Graphics 520 integrata ed è realizzato in 14 nm. La velocità clock massima è solo di 2 GHz ed il Turbo Boost non è supportato.
Intel Kaby Lake Refresh:
i5-8250U:
Processore quad-core a bassa potenza basato sul Kaby-Lake-Refresh. I quattro core hanno un clock tra 1,6 e 3,4 GHz (Turbo Boost) e supportano l'HyperThreading. La GPU integrata ha un clock compreso tra 300 e 1.100 MHz. Il SoC è prodotto con un processo FinFET da 14 nm+.
i3-8130U:
SoC dual core basato sull'architettura Kaby-Lake con clock da 2,2 a 3,4 GHz con HyperThreading (4 thread) e una scheda grafica UHD Graphics 620 integrata con clock fino a 1 GHz.
Intel Kaby Lake:
i3-7020U:
SoC basato su Kaby-Lake con due core CPU con clock a 2.3 GHz (senza Turbo Boost), HyperThreading e prodotto con un processo migliorato a 14nm.
Intel Gemini Lake:
Celeron N4000:
SoC dual-core a basso consumo della serie Gemini Lake per notebook economici. Funziona con clock tra 1,1-2,6 GHz e integra un adattatore grafico compatibile con DirectX 12.
Pentium N5000:
SoC quad-core a bassa potenza della serie Gemini Lake per notebook economici. Funziona con clock tra 1,1-2,7 GHz e integra un adattatore grafico compatibile con DirectX 12.
