Il ROG Phone 5s Pro è un ottimo prodotto che ha come unico neo il prezzo, si alto, ma sicuramente in linea con l’hardware offerto, soprattutto considerando il display e tecnologia presente. L’Hardware è di ottimo livello, il processore è lo Snapdragon 888, coadiuvato da 12/16 o 18 GB di RAM, e 512 GB di memoria interna, indispensabili per le dimensioni dei giochi attuali. L’interfaccia è molto piacevole e la multimedialità è ottima, con foto di buon livello e, soprattutto, audio di livello superiore, senza dimenticare il display con la frequenza di aggiornamento di ben 144 Hz. Nella configurazione TOP da noi provata, ovvero con 18 GB di RAM e 512 GB di archivio interno, è possibile trovare il ROG Phone 5s Pro, ad un prezzo di circa 1299 euro, certo non per tutti, ma la qualità c’è e la tipologia di telefono non è quella congeniale a cui siamo abituati che lo fa un telefono unico nel suo genere.

ROG Phone 5s Pro, la recensione: una questione di dettagli

Ad eccezione di quanto evidenziato sopra, il ROG Phone 5s (Pro) non presenta differenze rispetto al modello di inizio 2021. Nella versione Pro lo schermo posteriore aggiunge un po’ di grinta al design del prodotto - ma per qualcuno lo renderà semplicemente un po’ più tamarro - mentre le altre modifiche sono più che altro delle rifiniture volte a dare la miglior esperienza di gioco possibile. Resta un telefono dotato di prestazioni eccellenti, con una batteria generosissima da 6.000 mAh totali e un comparto fotografico così così che, nel frattempo, è invecchiato di altri sei mesi. Lo schermo a 144 Hz vi permette di avere la massima fluidità nei giochi che supportano frame rate più spinti mentre l’audio fa sempre una gran bella figura, facendo di questo smartphone una soluzione eccellente anche per guardare film e serie TV. Se avete un ROG Phone 5, lo ribadiamo, non ha molto senso pensare all’upgrade perché le migliorie sono minime. Qualora invece abbiate aspettato o non siate riusciti a comprare il ROG Phone 5

ROG Phone 5S Pro è ancora una volta il gaming phone per antonomasia. L'esperienza d'uso è identica rispetto al modello precedente, ma apprezziamo l'aggiornamento del processore e la memoria interna da 512 GB a prezzo in proporzione invariato. Il prezzo è molto molto alto, parliamo di 1.299 euro che possono essere giustificati solo se siete nerd e videogiocate come se non ci fosse un domani. Per l'uso quotidiano è decisamente bocciato, veloce sì ma grande e sopratutto molto pesante. Di nicchia quindi, ma per alcuni il senso ce l'avrà!
