Ma arriviamo alla fotocamera, che condivide il sensore principale con il modello pro, ovvero un Sony IMX766 da 50MP con autofocus PDAF omni-pixel omnidirezionale. A completare il reparto fotocamere abbiamo un obbiettivo ultra grandangolare da 8MP e un ultra grandangolo, che creano un’offerta fotografica di tutto rispetto. Eccellenti anche i video, che vengono registrati in 4K e 60 FPS, il che ovviamente è una cosa estremamente positiva e che valorizza ulteriormente questo dispositivo. Per quanto concerne infine le prestazioni GT2, il dispositivo sotto la scocca monta un chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, che riesce a garantire ottime prestazioni, anche se a farne le spese, come vi abbiamo già spiegato prima, è la batteria. Notevoli anche RAM e Archiviazione che rispettivamente ammontano a 12 e 256 GB, nella versione che abbiamo avuto modo di provare, e che ci hanno sempre regalato una esperienza d’uso fluida e priva di rallentamenti.

Realme GT2 5G si può definite il flagship della casa madre, differisce dal fratello maggiore Pro che invece rappresenta la vera e propria ammiraglia, il massimo dell’espressione tecnologica attualmente in possesso di Realme. GT2 5G invece è il prodotto con il quale Realme applica la sua filosofia nell’essenza più profonda, ovvero un terminale evoluto e potente attento al rapporto qualità prezzo, tanto caro alla casa madre. Differisce quindi nel processore, nel display e nel comparto cam meno prestante, al fronte di un esborso economico inferiore di Euro 200,00. I competitor più quotati sono da ricercare sia in casa, con l’ottimo Realme GT 5G sempre da tenere d’occhio, ma anche fuori, con Samsung S21 FE 5G in primis, capace di offrire migliori fotocamere, certificazione IP e un ottimo display, ma peggiore in autonomia e prestazioni, e del sempre valido Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G, forse il più equilibrato del pacchetto, ma dotato di un software che non è in grado di rivaleggiare con l’ottima Realme UI 3.0.

Il realme GT 2, ci ha sorpreso davvero molto, con un ottima qualità d’insieme, un ottimo processore e 12 GB di RAM che permettono al sistema di girare sempre fluido e senza problemi di sorta con uno svolgimento davvero rapido di tutte le operazioni effettuate. Ottima anche l’autonomia, ma qualora doveste rimanere a secco ci sarà la ricarica rapida da 65W a togliervi dagli impacci, che, tramite il caricatore presente in confezione, permette di effettuare una carica completa (0-100%) in appena 33 minuti. Il realme GT 2, nella variante da noi provata, 12 GB + 256 GB è disponibile su Amazon al prezzo di 499 euro e nella variante da 8 GB + 128 GB, al prezzo di 469 euro.

The Realme GT 2 is another solid phone from the firm, but I feel like it’s more of a flagship filler than flagship killer - sitting between last year's GT and the new GT 2 Pro. That’s not to say you shouldn't buy it, just that it’s less of a no brainer this time around. Not a whole lot has changed since the original GT with much of the same spec sheet and I personally prefer the striking vegan leather design rather than this new biopolymer one. With a higher price and the entry-level model limited to the Steel Black (non-biopolymer) colourway, it’s just got more of a job on its hands competing with various phones at a similar price or often much lower. A lack of waterproofing, wireless charging and those basic ultrawide and macro cameras are all disappointing. However, if the unusual biopolymer design does take your fancy, then you’re getting a well-spec'd phone with above-average battery life and speedy 65W charging.
