L'Asus Flow X13 è un convertibile ultra-compatto da 13 pollici con un display ad alta risoluzione. Con il display dock opzionale, dotato di una GPU Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080, il Flow X13, insieme alla CPU AMD Ryzen 9 5980H integrata nel portatile, farebbe teoricamente sembrare vecchi anche i computer desktop. A causa della mancanza di disponibilità, per ora recensiremo solo il Flow X13 senza l'eGPU.
L'Asus Flow X13 è un convertibile ultra-compatto da 13 pollici con un display ad alta risoluzione. Con il display dock opzionale, dotato di una GPU Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080, il Flow X13, insieme alla CPU AMD Ryzen 9 5980H integrata nel portatile, farebbe teoricamente sembrare vecchi anche i computer desktop. A causa della mancanza di disponibilità, per ora recensiremo solo il Flow X13 senza l'eGPU.

In definitiva si tratta di un portatile capace di prestazioni sicuramente interessanti, sotto il profilo 3D inferiori a quelle però di una soluzione desktop e di altri portatili con schede RTX serie 30 integrate all'interno. La soluzione di Asus è però particolare. Qui abbiamo da un lato la scomodità di dover utilizzare il box esterno per ottenere il massimo delle prestazioni e dall'altro un prezzo che in tempi normali permetterebbe di acquistare sia un desktop con una GPU performante che un portatile. D'altro canto si tratta invece di un prodotto che ha dalla sua l'eccezionale trasportabilità: per chi ha necessità di un sistema leggero, ma versatile e quando serve anche potente, il ROG Flow X13 è sicuramente un prodotto da prendere in considerazione.

Un portatile che fa tutto, ma proprio tutto? L'avete trovato! Non c'è nessuno come il ROG Flow X13, che ha intatto il fascino dei dispositivi avveniristici. Vi farà scoprire una nuova esperienza d'uso, che magari tra qualche tempo diventerà comune, più rifinita e più economica. Ad ASUS va il merito di esserci arrivata per prima, di esserci arrivata bene, e di avere comunque margine di miglioramento per la prossima generazione. Scheda grafica dedicata di fascia media per computer portatili sottili e leggeri basata sulla GTX 1650 ma con velocit‡ di clock e consumi ridotti. Utilizza l'architettura Turing (chip TU117 in 12nm FFN) ma senza Raytracing o Tensor cores.
Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo.
