The Samsung N350 is impressively compact, but its battery life is lacklustre and the benefits offered by the dual-core processor are minimal. It's also more expensive than most 10in netbooks, with cheaper models such as Acer's D260 offering far longer battery life.

EN→IT Archive.org versionThere no denying the N350 is a well-crafted netbook. It's small, light and great to type on. However, the high price and disappointing battery life hamper its overall appeal. The dual-core Atom chip is one of the main reasons for the high price, but the fact is you really don't get much of a performance boost from it. Ultimately, Samsung's N230 is a better offering. It has the same great design, twice the battery power and the performance of its single-core processor isn't far off that of the dual-core model on this N350.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 3150: Scheda grafica integrata (memoria condivisa) nell'Intel Atom N4xx CPUs. Minimamente più veloce rispetto ad una vecchia GMA 950 e pertanto non adatta ai giochi 3D o ai video HD (solo accelerazione MPEG2).
Queste schede grafiche per portatili non sono adatte al gaming. Anche se dovessero funzionare, ci sarebbero diversi errori grafici e un frame rate molto basso. Questi chips non sono affatto per i gamers! Applicazioni internet e da ufficio, invece non sono problematiche per queste GPUs.

Intel Atom:
La Intel Atom è una serie a 64-Bit di microprocessori (non tutti i modelli supportano 64bit) per portatili economici e piccoli (chiamati comunemente netbooks), MIDs, o UMPCs (Ultra Mibile Persona Computer). La particolarità della nuova architettura è l'esecuzione "in order" (al posto della consueta e più veloce esecuzione "out of order"). Di conseguenza il transistor count della serie Atom è abbastanza inferiore, e quindi più economico da produrre. Inoltre, il consumo di energia è molto contenuto. Le prestazioni per Megahertz sono ovviamente peggiori rispetto ai vecchi Pentium 3M (1,2 GHz alla pari di 1.6 GHz Atom).
N550: Dual core Atom con un TDP di appena 8.5 Watt. A causa della limitata velocità clock da 1.5 GHz potrebbe essere anche più lento di una CPU Atom N465.
