Ultrabooks and 2-in1s have always been more of a niche in the notebook market. While subsequent generations have made you give up less and less for the thin-and-light chassis, there are still some trade-offs. Traditionally the largest trade-off for these more portable designs has been cost. In the past, what we have considered "good" 2-in1s have come in at around $1200. With the Lenovo Yoga 700, it is refreshing to see a solid performing machine come in at under $900. You might sacrifice a bit of battery life, but for most users I would highly recommend the Lenovo Yoga 700.

Its build quality and high performance levels make it a very capable system to take on the road, but other aspects like its screen and battery life let it down. We'd expect better at this price, but that's not to say it's necessarily a bad choice. It's still a very versatile laptop for everyday use, and provides just as much speed as more expensive ultraportables. However, when you can get the equally convertible Toshiba Satellite Radius 15 for a lot less, which has a superior display and longer battery life, it becomes harder to justify choosing the Yoga. If you need the extra horsepower, the Yoga 700 will get the job done, for if you'd rather save some money, the Toshiba is a much better buy.

Raffreddamento limitato. Il piccolo Lenovo Yoga 700 è un compagno molto portatile e versatile grazie al suo schermo da 11.6" e alle varie modalità operative. Tuttavia, ci sono problemi in termini di dispositivi di input e con il sistema di raffreddamento passivo, in quanto il processore non riesce ad utilizzare tutto il suo potenziale.

If you want a more premium design and a little more performance, the HP Spectre x360 13t is another great option. However, if you want the best mainstream 2-in-1 for the money, the Yoga 710 should be your top choice.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" dalla leggenda inglese, novo (latino) per nuovo) è stata fondata nel 1984 come società cinese di commercio di computer. Nel 2004, l'azienda era il più grande produttore di laptop in Cina e, dopo aver acquisito la divisione PC di IBM nel 2005, il quarto più grande al mondo. Oltre a desktop e notebook, l'azienda produce monitor, proiettori, server, ecc. ed è specializzata nello sviluppo, produzione e commercializzazione di elettronica di consumo, personal computer, software, soluzioni aziendali e servizi correlati.
Nel 2016, l'azienda si è classificata al primo posto al mondo nelle vendite di computer. Lo deteneva ancora nel 2023 con una quota di mercato globale di circa il 23%. Importanti linee di prodotti sono Thinkpad, Legion e Ideapad.
Nel 2011 ha acquisito una partecipazione di maggioranza in Medion AG, un produttore europeo di hardware per computer. Nel 2014 è stata acquistata Motorola Mobility, che ha dato a Lenovo una spinta nel mercato degli smartphone.

La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata. Tuttavia, queste schede forniscono ancora abbastanza potenza per le applicazioni da ufficio e la proiezioni di video (ma non per i video HD).
