Lenovo ha inserito un pannello OLED nel ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 Intel. Questo schermo offre un'ottima qualità dell'immagine, ma un aspetto importante di questo portatile business risente della scelta dello schermo: la durata della batteria.

EN→ITThe Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 is such a positive surprise. This little fella with a 16.9 mm profile offers almost exactly the same performance as the bigger ThinkPad T14 Gen 4. In general, the performance of the T14s sibling is great. Web browsing or watching videos while benchmarking with Cinebench R23 isn’t a problem for this device – we already tried this and we observed no system lags. In addition to that, the CPU can sustain high processor P and E clocks under any load. During longer stress, the frequencies are a bit higher than the ones of the ThinkPad T14 Gen 4. The single fan is almost quiet when the processor has to do the heavy lifting and it’s hard to hear some noise in idle or during video playback. The thermals on the outside are low enough for comfortable usage. The input devices are also very good. The keyboard is comfortable for typing, it’s spill-resistant, and it has a backlight. The touchpad is smooth and responsive. The memory is soldered but this applies to almost any other notebook with similar thickness.

Abbiamo già recensito l'attuale ThinkPad T14s G4 con processore Intel e pannello OLED ad alta risoluzione, e ora abbiamo il modello AMD con Ryzen 7 7840U e display IPS a basso consumo. Oltre a prestazioni nettamente superiori, la buona durata della batteria è particolarmente impressionante.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" dalla leggenda inglese, novo (latino) per nuovo) è stata fondata nel 1984 come società cinese di commercio di computer. Nel 2004, l'azienda era il più grande produttore di laptop in Cina e, dopo aver acquisito la divisione PC di IBM nel 2005, il quarto più grande al mondo. Oltre a desktop e notebook, l'azienda produce monitor, proiettori, server, ecc. ed è specializzata nello sviluppo, produzione e commercializzazione di elettronica di consumo, personal computer, software, soluzioni aziendali e servizi correlati.
Nel 2016, l'azienda si è classificata al primo posto al mondo nelle vendite di computer. Lo deteneva ancora nel 2023 con una quota di mercato globale di circa il 23%. Importanti linee di prodotti sono Thinkpad, Legion e Ideapad.
Nel 2011 ha acquisito una partecipazione di maggioranza in Medion AG, un produttore europeo di hardware per computer. Nel 2014 è stata acquistata Motorola Mobility, che ha dato a Lenovo una spinta nel mercato degli smartphone.
Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.
Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs:
Scheda grafica integrata nei SoC Intel Tiger Lake G4 basati sulla nuova architettura Gen. 12 con 96 EU (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). La frequenza di clock dipende dal modello di processore. I chip Tiger Lake sono prodotti nel moderno processo 10nm+ di Intel.
AMD Radeon 780M:
Scheda grafica integrata nelle APU della serie mobile Ryzen 7040 basata sull'architettura RDNA3 con 12 CUs (= 768 shaders) ed una velocità clock fino a 3 GHz.

Intel Raptor Lake-U:
i7-1355U: CPU mobile basata su Alder Lake con 2 core ad alte prestazioni e 8 core efficienti. I core ad alte prestazioni offrono l'hyper threading, che porta a 12 thread che possono essere elaborati. Il clock della CPU va da 1,2 a 5 GHz. Il TDP è specificato a 15 Watt.
AMD Phoenix (Zen 4, Ryzen 7040):
R7 7840U: Processore mobile di fascia alta a 8 core, basato sull'architettura Zen 4. I core della CPU hanno un clock fino a 5,1 GHz ed eseguono 16 thread contemporaneamente. Integra un XDNA Ai-Engine. Il TDP è configurabile tra 35 e 54 Watt.
