Archive.org versionLisa Gade reviews a new ThinkBook 15.6” laptop from Lenovo that targets content creators who don’t want to spend crazy money for a powerful and stylish laptop. The ThinkBook 15P runs Windows 10 Pro on Intel 10th gen 45 watt CPUs up to the 8-core i7. It has NVIDIA GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q graphics, and a full HD IPS or wide gamut 10 bit 4k display (both matte non-touch). It has a 2-tone aluminum lid and rigid build quality though it’s reasonably slim and light. The laptop has upgradeable RAM and storage, Wi-Fi 6, a fingerprint scanner and a webcam privacy shutter. Don’t confuse it with the Lenovo ThinkPad P15 mobile workstation that’ll also be reviewing.

EN→IT Archive.org versionHere's the good news: this is an excellent overall PC. It does a lot right, with a beautiful 4K display, an excellent keyboard, and more. It also does a lot wrong, such as not including DisplayPort out in the USB Type-C port. I'd also love to have seen better ports in general, a larger trackpad, and an IR camera. Still, you get a lot for the price.

So, if you’re in for both of them, it’s not a bad choice. However, if you need more performance, MSI’s Creator 15 A10Sx packs a lot of power, but you need to have deeper pockets.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q:
Scheda grafica dedicata di media gamma per computer portatili che utilizza un chip Turing TU117 senza raytracing e nuclei Tensor. Funziona a velocità di clock ridotte rispetto a un portatile GTX 1650 Ti per ottenere un consumo energetico molto più basso (35 contro 50 - 80 Watt).
Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

i7-10750H:
Un processore hexa-core ad alte prestazioni progettato per i computer portatili più spessi con spazio per migliori termiche. Il processore Comet Lake-H è prodotto sul processo Intel di terza generazione a 14 nm e dispone della iGPU UHD Graphics 630 con clock da 350 MHz a 1.150 MHz. I core della CPU funzionano a 2.6 GHz (velocità di clock di base) con boosting fino a 5 GHz e la probabile frequenza Boost all-core è di 4.3 GHz. Il supporto Hyper-Threading è abilitato, permettendo a due thread di funzionare simultaneamente su ogni core.
