Now, the processor they use is being used pretty well, and the cooling solution is able to maintain the higher 28W sustained power limit of the Core i7-1165G7. Interestingly, the graphics performance is extremely poor, considering the power of this GPU. And this is with all performance enhancements and the latest drivers.

EN→ITSo, Lenovo has done a good job in the main department – security. The ThinkBook 15 Gen 4 features a firmware TPM 2.0, as well as a privacy shutter, and a fingerprint reader. The Kensington Nano slot, on the other hand, will help you protect your device from theft. The build quality is also okay, but the base is a bit bendy. Probably because of the plastic body. Interestingly, the keyboard left us with mixed feelings. It has a backlight and it’s spill-resistant. However, the key travel is super short. This is exactly the opposite of what we’re used to seeing on ThinkPads, which is a huge argument against the ThinkBooks. At the end of the day, the ThinkPad E15 Gen 4 is a very similar product, that is better built, and in our opinion – is the better bang for the buck in the business world.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" dalla leggenda inglese, novo (latino) per nuovo) è stata fondata nel 1984 come società cinese di commercio di computer. Nel 2004, l'azienda era il più grande produttore di laptop in Cina e, dopo aver acquisito la divisione PC di IBM nel 2005, il quarto più grande al mondo. Oltre a desktop e notebook, l'azienda produce monitor, proiettori, server, ecc. ed è specializzata nello sviluppo, produzione e commercializzazione di elettronica di consumo, personal computer, software, soluzioni aziendali e servizi correlati.
Nel 2016, l'azienda si è classificata al primo posto al mondo nelle vendite di computer. Lo deteneva ancora nel 2023 con una quota di mercato globale di circa il 23%. Importanti linee di prodotti sono Thinkpad, Legion e Ideapad.
Nel 2011 ha acquisito una partecipazione di maggioranza in Medion AG, un produttore europeo di hardware per computer. Nel 2014 è stata acquistata Motorola Mobility, che ha dato a Lenovo una spinta nel mercato degli smartphone.
Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.
AMD Radeon 620:
Scheda grafica entry level con 320 shader (5 unità di calcolo) o 384 shader (6 unità di calcolo), 4 GB DDR3 o GDDR5 e un bus di memoria a 64 bit. Pertanto, paragonabile ad una vecchia Radeon R7 M445 / M440 / M340 / M255 (28nm GCN).
Intel UHD Graphics 620:
GPU integrata (GT2, 24 EUs) si trova su alcuni modelli CPU Kaby-Lake-Refresh (15 W ULV series). Tecnicamente è identica alla precedente GPU Kaby-Lake chiamata HD Graphics 620.
Intel Iris Plus Graphics G4 (Ice Lake 48 EU):

Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs:

Intel Ice Lake:
i7-1060G7: Processore quad-core a bassa potenza basato su Ice-Lake per laptop e tablet sottili e leggeri. Integrato quattro core Sunnycove con clock a 1 - 3,8 GHz che supportano l'Hyperthreading (8 thread). Inoltre, il SoC integra una potente scheda grafica Intel Iris Plus Graphics G7 con clock a 1,1 GHz e Wifi 6 / Thunderbolt parzialmente integrato. Il chip è prodotto nel moderno processo a 10nm a Intel.
Intel Comet Lake:
i5-10210U: Processore quad-core a bassa potenza basato su Comet Lake (tecnicamente identico a Whiskey Lake e ancora prodotto in 14nm++). I core della CPU possono clockare tra 1,6 e 4,2 GHz (tutti e 4 i core a 3,9 GHz max.) con HyperThreading (8 thread). Il controller di memoria integrato supporta DDR4-2666 e utilizzando cTDP su/giù le prestazioni possono essere regolate dall'OEM (10 - 25 Watt possibili, 15W di default). Rispetto al più veloce i5-10510U, la cache di livello 3 è stata ridotta da 8 a 6 MB.
Intel Tiger Lake:
i5-1135G7:
Processore quad-core a bassa potenza basato su Tiger Lake per computer portatili sottili e leggeri. Prodotto in un processore migliorato a 10nm presso Intel.
i7-1165G7:
Processore quad-core a bassa potenza basato su Tiger Lake per computer portatili sottili e leggeri. I quattro cores si aggirano intorno ai 2,8 - 4,7 GHz. Prodotto in 10nm+ alla Intel.
AMD Cezanne (Zen 3, Ryzen 5000):
R5 5625U:
APU mobile a sei core con core Zen 3 con clock da 2,3 a 4,3 GHz e un adattatore grafico Vega con 7 CU con clock fino a 1800 MHz.
AMD Lucienne (Zen 2, Ryzen 5000):
R7 5700U:
APU Octa-Core mobile che utilizza core Zen 2 con clock da 1,8 a 4,3 GHz e una scheda grafica Vega con 8 CU con clock fino a 1900 MHz.
R5 5500U:
APU mobile a sei core che utilizza core Zen 2 con clock da 2,1 a 4 GHz e una scheda grafica Vega con 7 CU con clock fino a 1800 MHz. Simile al vecchio Ryzen 5 4500U.
Intel Alder Lake-M:
i5-1235U:
Un processore mobile basato su Alder-Lake con 2 core ad alte prestazioni e 8 core efficienti. I core ad alte prestazioni offrono l'hyper-threading, che consente l'elaborazione di 12 thread. La CPU funziona a frequenze comprese tra 0,9 e 4,4 GHz. Il TDP è di 15 Watt.
