Asus Zenfone 8, di certo non posso dire che esteticamente sia lo smartphone più bello o più originale con cui io abbia mai avuto a che fare. Piccolo e bruttino, ma tremendamente concreto. Uno smatphone che punta tutto alla sostanza, senza fronzoli inutili. Ha tutto quello che può servire, senza rinunciare a niente. Tornare ad uno smartphone cosi piccolo sarà sicuramente un plus, non potrete più farne a meno. Se state pensando di cambiare il vostro smartphone, al prezzo di 599 euro è un affare da non lasciarsi scappare. Puntate all’essenziale, all’usabilità ad una mano e alla praticità con Asus Zenfone 8, non ve ne pentirete.

Anche ai 699€ di listino rimane comunque interessante, e plauso ad Asus per aver riportato features molto comode che sui top non si vedevano da tempo, per di più su uno smartphone compatto e non padellone. Qualche compromesso lato imaging e sulla batteria ma nel complesso ci sta, in attesa del flip!

E poi il prezzo: molto inferiore alla concorrenza.

Insomma, se da una parte Zenfone 8 Flip, per quanto unico, rappresenta una conferma nella line-up dei taiwanesi per gli utenti più esigenti, è su Zenfone 8 che ASUS vuole scommettere. Un esperimento che a nostro avviso è molto interessante ed è ben riuscito già nella sua prima incarnazione anche per quanto riguarda il fronte durata della batteria. Rimane da vedere come verrà accolto dall'utenza finale, che ultimamente si è mostrata piuttosto timida nei confronti degli smartphone compatti. In questa generazione, però, ASUS vuole rispondere a quegli utenti che richiedono uno smartphone "mini" con un hardware "big" e Zenfone 8 può accontentarli senza obbligarli a troppi sacrifici.

Asus ha riempito un buco nel panorama italiano, realizzando un prodotto che per certi aspetti stupisce. Stupisce perché non lo ha fatto uno dei nomi noti della telefonia, ma lo ha progettato con cura e attenzione un produttore il cui core business è un altro. Asus ha fatto una scelta specifica: ascoltare la community, ascoltare i desideri degli utenti più appassionati e ha dato loro un telefono che rispecchia esattamente questi desideri. Probabilmente gli è uscito bene perché non ha voluto seguire le mode, ed è uscita dagli schemi: c’è il jack audio, c’è led di stato, c’è IP68 e tutto funziona incredibilmente bene, tranne qualche piccola sbavatura a livello di software che sarà limata.

In my opinion, it only lacked a camera with a telephoto lens and inductive charging. Everything else - is in line with my expectations for the flagship smartphone from 2021. Asus ZenFone 8 offers top performance, complete equipment and a great display. It even has a minijack and a waterproof casing, and it also takes good photos and videos. Battery - also nothing to complain about. Will you say that other flagships offer similar possibilities, and Zenfone does not stand out with anything special?
