Vivo X Fold è al momento l’unico dispositivo da prendere in considerazione se le priorità sono quelle di possedere un moderno foldable che possa essere anche un camera phone. il prezzo richiesto è in Europa di circa 1500 Euro per la versione 12/256 Gb che reputiamo ampiamente giustificato dagli altissimi contenuti tecnologici presenti. Primo tra tutti il display interno, LTPO e con la piega impercettibile, che viene “azionato” da una cerniera che risulta essere un ingegnoso e sofisticato sistema, certificato dal prestigioso TUV Rheinland come affidabile. Il processore utilizzato è il top di casa Qualcomm, con a supporto un ottimo quantitativo di velocissime memorie Ram e Rom. Inoltre il comparto cam è il medesimo utilizzato sul camera phone X80 Pro, curato in tutte le specifiche grazie alla collaborazione con Zeiss. Pecca invece in peso e dimensioni e in un software che seppur buono non presenta funzionalità specifiche che possano sfruttare il display interno a dovere. È un vero e proprio concentrato di potenza e tecnologia capace di essere elegante, affidabile, potente e con un comparto cam degno di essere definito da riferimento, il migliore in assoluto presente in qualsiasi foldable attualmente in commercio.

It's by far one of the best foldables we've used as it stands out with exceptional displays (even the internal screen has a smaller-than-usual crease), great battery life, nice hinge design and not one but two ultrasonic fingerprint readers that work flawlessly. We find that last bit a huge advantage over the current side-mounted readers in today's foldables. The overall camera experience isn't bad either. It's not ideal, but it's mostly on par with what the competition offers. We would have liked a better selfie and further zoom reach (3x at least), but otherwise, the quality is solid during the day and at night. We also wished for a better stereo speaker setup, although we understand that not everyone would mind the speakers as they are.

Cosa dire quindi in conclusione di questo Vivo X Fold 3 Pro? Ad oggi forse è il connubio perfetto fra un ottimo, eccellente hardware ed un software comunque funzionale, leggero e che si aggiorna con regolarità. Mancano sicuramente delle funzioni extra, che ad esempio ci sono sulla versione cinese basata sull'OriginOS, ma ad oggi forse è meglio avere un sistema più snello possibile e arricchirlo pian piano in base a ciò che davvero può essere utile e fare la differenza. Una piacevole scoperta insomma, che mi ha permesso di capire ancor di più come mai questo produttore è in cima alle classifiche asiatiche. In Europa, soprattutto in Italia, è ancora pressoché sconosciuto, ma se le premesse sono le seguenti la strada del successo è sicuramente in discesa.

That's a tough question – depending on which market you are in, it can be quite hard to get your hands on a Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. We'd say it's not worth jumping through multiple hoops and risking carrier incopatibilities — not because the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is bad, but because there are options out there that work just fine and perform quite well themselves. That said, we are quite impressed with the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro — quality screens, quality build, dual ultrasonic fingerprint scanners, excellent performance and battery life. All that for quite the competitive price — considering that Samsung upped the price tag of the Z Fold by $100 this year, we'd say the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is quite well positioned. Again... pretty hard to find it at a reputable retailer, though.

There are some downsides we didn’t enjoy. For example, it has an older processor despite its prohibitively high S$2,499 price. It also has a curved design that’s not quite as sleek and fresh. We also found it unacceptable that a premium device has ads. But, we do understand some users are hardly bothered by those shortcomings. Vivo X Fold5 still does a great job of providing great performance alongside its useful software features. Origin Workbench is probably one of the features we we enjoyed the most, since it gave meaning to the inner display beyond having something big to look at. Multitaskers and app switchers will find it game-changing.

Vivo:
Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.
Qualcomm Adreno 730:
Chip grafico per smartphone e tablet integrato nel SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Qualcomm sostiene che è il 30% più veloce dell'Adreno 660 nel SoC Snapdragon 888. Per Android dovrebbe essere una delle schede grafiche più veloci alla fine del 2021.
Qualcomm Adreno 740:
Chip grafico per smartphone e tablet integrato nel SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Qualcomm sostiene che è più veloce del 25% rispetto all'Adreno 730 dello Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 e i primi benchmark mostrano che la GPU è in grado di battere l'iGPU A16 di Apple (in precedenza la GPU più veloce per smartphone).

Altri tre core più performanti sono basati sull'A710 ma con clock fino a 2,5 GHz. Inoltre, sono integrati quattro core di risparmio energetico che sono basati sull'architettura ARM Cortex-A510 e clock fino a 1,8 GHz. Oltre ai core del processore, il SoC integra un modem WiFi 6e, un DSP Hexagon (per l'accelerazione AI) e un ISP Spectra.
