Una cifra che lo posiziona nella fascia medio-alta, ma che trova piena giustificazione nella scheda tecnica e nell'esperienza d'uso complessiva. Non è un dispositivo che vuole sorprendere con effetti speciali. Vuole, piuttosto, convincere chi cerca uno smartphone solido, concreto, ben costruito e privo di evidenti punti deboli. E, in questo, riesce perfettamente. VIVO V50 è uno smartphone di fascia media globalmente più che valido, che mette il comparto fotografico in primo piano offrendo un livello qualitativo decisamente elevato rispetto alla stragrande maggioranza dei competitor. Le novità rispetto al precedente VIVO V40 sono tuttavia davvero limitate, e il dispositivo soffre ancora di un posizionamento sul mercato poco competitivo sia per quel che riguarda il prezzo di listino, sia per i canali di vendita limitati ai negozi Euronics e SME. Insomma, per quanto non presti il fianco a criticità particolari, VIVO V50 si trova indubbiamente costretto a inseguire smartphone di fascia media più completi o convenienti.

Insomma, il problema di questo Vivo V50 alla fine è il suo prezzo, dal momento che parliamo di uno smartphone convincente proprio come l'anno scorso. E proprio come l'anno scorso, per rendere questo smartphone appetibile, servirà un calo di prezzo di circa 200€. Il vero e unico miglioramento lo abbiamo sulla batteria, che passa da 5500mAh a 6000mAh, non uno stravolgimento perché già col precedente si arrivava tranquillamente a fine serata. E quindi forse è stato migliorato l'unico aspetto che già era più che ottimo, a qualunque prezzo. Su questa nuova versione avremmo desiderato vedere una CPU più potente, delle memorie più veloci, un display più luminoso ma anche soltanto una fotocamera tele in più, ereditata dal modello PRO dell'anno scorso.

Vivo seems to already have the formula down for a good camera-focused midranger and isn't rocking the boat too much with the V50. It basically borrows most of the experience and even hardware from the V40 and V30 before it, bringing in some new refinements. The main camera has been tweaked a little to now include a better OV50e sensor plus Zeiss optics for all three shooters. And there is now an even larger 6,000mAh battery with faster 90W charging. This year, the model introduces a new Dimond Shield Glass protection (in collaboration with Schott), which should be up to 50% more drop-resistant compared to the V40's first Schott glass. Of course, the trio of 50MP autofocusing cameras continue to be the star of the show.

So, should you buy the vivo V50? Well, it’s a bit more nuanced here. I will say that if you’re using something like the vivo V20 or older, then yes – it’s a great upgrade. Still, I do wish for a bit more performance since the gaming performance isn’t the best – but hey, if you don’t play games on your phone, then it’s not a problem. The battery life of the vivo V50 is astoundingly good, and we can even use a USB-PD PPS charger to get the same charging speed as the included 90W charger. That’s fantastic. Overall, the vivo V50 is a solid midrange smartphone. It looks like vivo decided to just package all the goodies into one V series phone and call it a day. I think this was a good idea, rather than have two V-series phones with minor differences. I don’t think you need to rush out and upgrade from the V40 Pro, though if you want a bigger battery, then certainly do it. But there’s not a lot here to make me want to move from the V40 Pro. Still, if you’re looking to upgrade from an older midrange smartphone, and you can get one of these, then the vivo V50 is a solid choice. I will add, if you can at all afford to purchase the vivo X200 Pro, that is the one I would buy over this. But price is a factor.

One thing appears to be a slight downgrade — the 6.8-inch display is now 6.77-inch, and pixel resolution went from 2,800 x 1,260 pixels to 2,392 x 1,080 pixels.

I have been using this mid-ranger for a couple of weeks to test performance, its hyped camera capabilities, and other crucial features to know if it's worth upgrading. Since the Vivo V50e is a camera-centred smartphone, I did not have many expectations for performance. However, the smartphone has excelled in several areas, including providing a vibrant display, lasting battery life, and much more. For under Rs 30,000, the Vivo V50e delivers good value — especially if battery life and display quality are priorities. It’s not perfect, but it’s one of the most well-balanced mid-rangers out there.

That said, the smartphone leaves room for improvement in terms of performance, as some users may prefer more power. The display could also benefit from higher brightness for better outdoor visibility, and the cameras would be more appealing with added vibrancy and sharpness. Still, the Vivo V50e remains a solid choice for daily users who seek a good phone with great after-sales service. The handset has been priced in India starting at Rs 28,999.

A solid choice for casual users, but not ideal for power users or gamers. The mid-range smartphone market in India is more competitive than ever, with brands constantly trying to outdo each other by offering premium features at accessible prices. From vibrant displays to powerful cameras and fast charging, users now expect a lot without having to spend a fortune. Well, Vivo has just launched a new contender in this space—the Vivo V50e 5G– which is priced at Rs 28,999. With its eye-catching design, the phone looks well-equipped to take on the competition. But does it live up to expectations in real-world use? I spent a good amount of time with the device to find out how it performs across key areas like design, display, performance, camera, and battery. Here’s my full review of the Vivo V50e 5G.

Vivo:

Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

Qualcomm Adreno 720: Chip grafico per smartphone e tablet, integrato nel SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2. Secondo Qualcomm, è 2 volte più veloce del vecchio Adreno 644 nello Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.

Soltanto i giochi datasi possono essere giocati in modo fluido con questi chips grafici (se non richiedono troppe prestazioni). I cores con memoria grafica condivisa in questa categoria hanno il vantaggio delle minori emissioni di calore e della maggiore autonomia della batteria. Per ufficio, internet, image processing, e video editing queste schede grafiche sono utilizzabili senza particolari problematiche.

ARM Mali-G57 MP2:

La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata. Tuttavia, queste schede forniscono ancora abbastanza potenza per le applicazioni da ufficio e la proiezioni di video (ma non per i video HD).

ARM Mali-G615 MP2: Chip grafico di fascia media per smartphone con 2 dei 6 core possibili. Basato sulla quarta generazione dell'architettura Valhall. Offre un'ombreggiatura a tasso variabile.

Qualcomm Snapdragon:

SD 7 Gen 3: SoC di fascia media con 8 crio-core (1x ARM Cortex-X2 2,91 GHz prime core, 3x ARM Cortex A710 2,49 GHz performance cluster, 4x ARM Cortex A510 con 1,8 efficiency cluster) e un modem X62 5G (fino a 4400 Mbps in download). Il chip è prodotto nel moderno processo a 4 nm presso TSMC.

Mediatek Dimensity 6000:

Dimensity 6300: La CPU offre un totale di otto core, suddivisi in due cluster. Uno ha due core ARM Cortex-A76 per le prestazioni con un massimo di 2,4 GHz ciascuno, mentre l'altro ha sei core ARM Cortex-A55 per il risparmio energetico con un massimo di 2,0 GHz ciascuno. La RAM LPDDR4x con 2.133 MHz può essere utilizzata come RAM e UFS 2.2 è supportato come memoria interna. Il Dimensity 6300 è molto simile al vecchio Dimensity 6080.

Mediatek :

Dimensity 7300: Dimensity 7300 è un processore di fascia media con modem 5G integrato. La parte CPU integra quattro core ARM Cortex-A78 con un massimo di 2,5 GHz e quattro core di potenza Cortex-A55 con un massimo di 2 GHz. Il SoC è prodotto con il moderno processo a 4 nm.
