The only real problem I can see is with hard disc space after various small deductions for things like Office Starter which is in its own hidden partition, Hibernation area and a Recovery section the space available on the ‘C’ drive is a tad under 93GB and 35GB of that is already used, so you have available only 57.4GB of hard disc space.

Although it's not marketed under Intel's Ultrabook branding, Samsung's new Series 9 900X3B laptop is an Ultrabook in all but name. The pricy Samsung Series 9 900X3B isn't perfect, but it's currently the best Windows alternative to the Apple Macbook Air thanks to its superb build quality, good screen and reasonably long battery life.

Thanks to the 1.6GHz Intel Core i5 processor and 4GB of RAM, the 900X3B is more than fast enough for most everyday tasks. The memory can't be upgraded beyond 4GB though. 4GB is enough for now, but it may be a problem in future as software tends to become more memory intensive.

If you want a slim, light and stylish notebook with a high quality, high resolution display then the 13-inch Samsung Series 9 must be on your shortlist. If you value the display above everything else, then there’s very little competition. However, achieving the slim and light form factor has necessitated some compromises, particularly the below-average battery capacity and the congested ports, many of which need dongles, while Samsung are charging a premium to the users who value this notebook’s attributes. Performance is below average but is still more than adequate for most applications.

The Samsung Series 9 900X3B is not just the thinnest, lightest 13in laptop in the world, but it’s also the best-looking, best sounding ultraportable we’ve come across. Its high-resolution PLS screen offers quality above any other laptop display on the market, its connectivity isn’t compromised by its sleek lines, and it’s great to use too with an excellent backlit keyboard and large, sensitive touchpad. Weighed against all this goodness, the 900X3B’s average battery life seems a minor downer, and overall Samsung’s latest ultraportable is worth every penny of its premium price.

The new Series 9, the Samsung Series 9 900X3B, is not something that the Korean giant has chosen to label an Ultrabook. Specs-wise it is one, but the only conclusion we can draw is that is that "ultra" doesn't cover it. It's better than that.

Intel HD Graphics 3000: 3 imminenti (Q1 2011) schede grafiche integrate nel processore Intel Sandy Bridge (Core ix-2xxx). La 3000 / 200 è la versione più veloce internamente chiamata GT2 con 12 Execution Units (EUs).

Soltanto i giochi datasi possono essere giocati in modo fluido con questi chips grafici (se non richiedono troppe prestazioni). I cores con memoria grafica condivisa in questa categoria hanno il vantaggio delle minori emissioni di calore e della maggiore autonomia della batteria. Per ufficio, internet, image processing, e video editing queste schede grafiche sono utilizzabili senza particolari problematiche.
