Avanti veloce fino al 2022 e Razer ha aumentato significativamente l'obiettivo a 165 W senza grandi cambiamenti al telaio. You might be thinking that price is a bit too low for a laptop that’s as powerful as the Razer Blade 17. Well, power only goes so far. People need to see what they paid for, and if all they’re seeing is a far too dim display that belongs on a Chromebook, they’re not getting what they paid for. If you have money to blow, consider the Alienware x17 R2 ($4,800). It’s also stupid expensive, but at least you get a pleasantly bright display. Overall, the Razer Blade 17 is a solid gaming laptop for those that can find it at a discount and are willing to look at a different panel configuration.

While it still produces a grainy image that struggles with exposure, the color accuracy, white balance, and detail are good enough to rely on in a pinch. It’s a noticeable improvement over the 720p cameras that Razer previously used, but it’s relative. Most laptop webcams are still bad, but this one’s much less bad than before. Still, you may just want to get a better webcam if you live in Zoom during the workday. A buying decision for a big, expensive gaming laptop usually weighs heavily on how powerful it is and how much it costs. But if your list of criteria also includes a laptop with an appealing and thin design, a stellar keyboard and trackpad, alongside a bunch of power, the Blade 17 is one of a few options out there at all to meet your needs. And thankfully, this year’s model is a particularly good, if still quite expensive, one.

Scheda grafica di fascia alta per laptop basata sul chip Ampere GA103S. Al momento del lancio all'inizio del 2022, la 3080 Ti è la scheda grafica per laptop più veloce sul mercato.
Queste schede grafiche sono paragonabili alle entusiasmanti schede grafiche desktop, come la 9800M GT. Le schede hanno un core simile alle relative schede desktop, ma hanno un clock inferiore e spesso hanno processori con meno ombre. I giochi moderni come Age of Conan, Race Driver Grid, Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, o Gothic 3 dovrebbero scorrere in modo fluido con dettagli elevati (Crysis dovrebbe funzionare con dettagli medio alti).
