There’s a lot to love about the Lenovo ThinkPad X9-15 Gen 1 Aura Edition. It practically cast a siren song upon me between its beautiful OLED display and its punchy speaker system. The battery life and sturdy chassis are also great. The problem is: Performance. If you need a high-performing business laptop, especially for a price that warrants it, then you’re much better off going with the MacBook Air 15-inch M4. It’s faster, supports nearly as much battery life, and it gives you access to the whole macOS suite of apps. However, if you need a Windows device that supports a stunning OLED display, none of the competitors can keep up with the Lenovo ThinkPad X9-15 Gen 1 Aura Edition.

The Aura Edition's AI features, which add even more enhancements on top of Copilot+, set the machine apart from many competitors. Just don't come to it for massive performance. While the ThinkPad X9's general performance proves more than capable for everyday productivity and even some demanding tasks, it's no speed champion, particularly when stacked against dedicated content-creation powerhouses. Ultimately, the X9 carves out a compelling niche for traveling pros and discriminating consumers who prioritize a premium visual experience and cutting-edge AI integration alongside portability and reasonable-enough performance.

95% Lenovo ThinkPad X9 Gen 1 Aura Edition 14″ & 15″ review: Quite possibly the best new laptops of 2025

The Lenovo ThinkPad X9 Gen 1 is a controversial addition to the ThinkPad lineup and easily the best addition to that lineup in many years and possibly the best laptop of 2025 (it is). Yes, I know that is a bold statement, so take it with a grain of salt and do your own research and read other reviews. Overall, both the 14-inch and 15-inch models offer similar performance experiences (depending on what CPU you opt for). Obviously, the screen size is different, but both of these panels are 2.8K OLED displays with anti-reflective coating, and they look spectacular. The design is on point and really reminds me of a MacBook Pro, that is intentional. The new Intel chips and GPUs are spectacular and offer nearly the same performance and battery life as Apple’s M-chips.

Intel Arc 140V: Un adattatore grafico integrato piuttosto veloce che, secondo quanto riferito, alcuni processori Intel Lunar Lake impiegano. Il 140V ha 8 core di architettura Xe² che funzionano fino a 2.050 MHz e 8 unità di ray tracing; è abilitato a DirectX 12 Ultimate e supporta anche tutti i codec video moderni. Se le recenti fughe di notizie sui punteggi dei benchmark sono indicative, le sue prestazioni di gioco saranno leggermente migliori di quelle di GeForce MX570.

Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.
