LG V50 ThinQ è un device davvero interessante: l’hardware è di primordine, è incluso anche il 5G e le fotocamere offrono ottime prestazioni. Il Dual Screen è incluso nella confezione, peccato solo che il prezzo sia in assoluto “fuori mercato”, visto che si parla di € 1299 a listino.

Il V50 ThinQ 5G di LG è di sicuro un ottimo top gamma, ma forse offerto ad un prezzo troppo alto per il mercato attuale, ma sicuramente in linea con quanto offerto con il plus del dual screen. Purtroppo il V50 ThinQ 5G, è acquistabile solo tramite Vodafone con varie tariffe e a fronte di 199 di esborso iniziale. Il prezzo del V50 va trai i 20 e i 25 euro mensili a cui va abbinato un abbonamento (tra i 19 e i 40 mensili). Riteniamo abbastanza limitante come offerta e sicuramente inciderà sulla commercializzazione del dispositivo. I materiali sono al top così come l’hardware, e ci sono molte tecnologie esclusive, come il dual screen, peccato per l’esclusiva Vodafone.

LG sfoggia in questo 2019 un nuovo LG V50 ThinQ che pensa molto alla rete veloce 5G. Ci pensa e agisce considerando però il fatto che proprio la rete 5G non è ancora pronta ad affrontare il quotidiano soprattutto in termini di stabilità. Lo smartphone invece lo è, per quanto effettivamente possa servire lavorare in 5G. Di fatto LG sa ancora e bene come realizzare smartphone e questo nuovo device, arrivato davvero a pochi mesi dal V40 ThinQ, lavora bene, risulta fortemente elegante nella sua semplicità e può permettersi di andare a toccare gli utenti più esigenti.

LG V50 ThinQ ci è piaciuto: prendendo in esame lo smartphone singolarmente ci troviamo di fronte a un vero top di gamma con caratteristiche e funzionalità complete e di livello, peccato solo per qualche lag di troppo nel software. Una volta inserito in questo accessorio Dual Screen diventa un campione del multitasking offrendo praticamente due smartphone in uno. Di primo acchito potrebbe sembrare poco utile ma nell’uso quotidiano evita quel centinaio di tocchi sull’icona del multitasking per passare da un’app all’altra senza perderne il riferimento, senza dimenticarne l’utilità nei giochi e nei momenti di digitazione.

LG’s first 5G handset tells a familiar story but it’s more of an obnoxious big-budget remake than a cult-classic. It's less Suspiria and closer to the recent live action take on Dumbo. When it comes to the price, this thing sits towards the top of the smartphone totem pole but the gulf between LG and the other brands playing in that range feels like it has never been larger. Look - I don't know if this is the worst phone I've reviewed this year but it's certainly a contender and miles from the point where I'd readily recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to burn money and make things more difficult for themselves. At the price it currently commands, it just doesn't make sense to buy this phone. True to the form of the brand involved, the LG V50 ThinQ 5G is far from my favorite handset of 2019. It's technically competent on some fronts but that's about the only nice thing I can think to say about this walking disaster of a flagship smartphone.

La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. SD 855: SoC di fascia alta per smartphone che è stato introdotto alla fine del 2018 e prodotto in 7 nm al TSMC. Integra un "Prime Core" basato su un'architettura ARM Cortex-A76 modificata con clock fino a 2,84 GHz. Altri tre core di prestazioni sono anch'essi basati sull'A76 ma con clock fino a 2,42 GHz.
