Honor 600 Lite è uno smartphone che nel complesso va bene: è costruito molto bene, ha un ottimo display e una batteria veramente convincente. Però, rispetto allo scorso anno, ho avuto la sensazione che Honor abbia dato più importanza all’estetica che alla sostanza. Honor 600 Lite ha un prezzo di listino di 429€, cifra che sinceramente secondo me è troppo alta per quello che offre. Con gli sconti sul sito ufficiale si scende intorno ai 329€ mentre su Amazon si trova anche sotto i 300€, prezzo che considero più corretto. Per il 95% degli utenti che cercano un telefono affidabile per social, chiamate, video e utilizzo quotidiano Honor 600 Lite andrà benissimo. Però, al prezzo di listino proposto mi sarei aspettato qualcosa in più soprattutto nel comparto fotografico e delle prestazioni più coerenti con la fascia di prezzo.

Siamo arrivati al momento di tirare le somme su questo Honor 600 Lite, partendo dal fattore economico che spesso determina il successo o il fallimento di un progetto. Lo smartphone viene proposto a un prezzo di listino ufficiale di 429.90 euro. Si tratta di una cifra che, se presa in modo isolato, lo metterebbe in diretta e complessa competizione con avversari agguerriti dotati di processori e fotocamere più performanti. Tuttavia, la politica commerciale di Honor è da sempre molto aggressiva e la promozione di lancio prevede uno sconto immediato direttamente a carrello di ben 100 euro. A questo si aggiunge la possibilità per gli iscritti all’ecosistema del brand di scalare i punti accumulati sullo store ufficiale, permettendo di abbassare l’esborso finale intorno ai 300 euro, spesso con interessanti omaggi inclusi nel bundle a seconda del periodo promozionale. A questa cifra reale di mercato, il posizionamento del dispositivo diventa decisamente più a fuoco e in linea con i tempi attuali. Honor 600 Lite non cerca di fare tutto, ma sceglie con cura le proprie battaglie.

Tirando le somme a proposito di questo Honor 600 Lite ecco quindi che torniamo a quello che abbiamo detto in apertura. Non è uno smartphone riuscito male, anzi, ha diverse carte da giocare. Convince nella costruzione, nel display, nell’autonomia e nella piacevolezza d’uso quotidiana. È leggero, comodo, curato e dotato di una batteria in grado di cambiare davvero l’approccio con la ricarica. Per chi usa lo smartphone soprattutto per messaggistica, social, navigazione, video, lavoro leggero e chiamate, può essere un compagno affidabile. Il problema nasce quando si guarda al prezzo ufficiale e al comparto fotografico. I 429 euro richiesti dal listino sono troppi da qualsiasi angolazione li si guardi, e non solo se pensiamo alle fotocamere, le rinunce sono diverse e passano per una piattaforma non certo esuberante e per una connettività completa ma non aggiornatissima in termini di standard. Ecco perché Honor 600 Lite trova una collocazione più sensata solo intorno ai 300 euro, o magari anche qualcosa meno. Insomma, è uno smartphone da scegliere con consapevolezza. Al prezzo giusto può diventare una proposta interessante, altrimenti la concorrenza è tanta anche restando in casa Honor, dove Magic 8 Lite si trova ormai stabilmente ad un prezzo molto simile con una piattaforma più performante e fotocamere migliori, anche se decisamente meno maneggevole e, a mio parere, anche meno riuscito esteticamente.

Sciocchezze, in un certo senso. Ma sono le sciocchezze che disegnano il carattere di un'azienda: la copia dell'iPhone, i prezzi costruiti per essere scontati, le feature AI orientate all'intrattenimento più che all’utilità sono segnali che dicono qualcosa su come Honor vuole presentarsi e su quanto sia difficile, con queste premesse, costruire una fedeltà duratura al brand. Honor è più un mordi e fuggi: oggi si compra quando c’è l’occasione e al prezzo di listino viene sempre vista come una azienda dai prezzi esagerati. Il problema è che così facendo si possono fare volumi, ma non margini. A 500 euro, trovandolo con le promozioni disponibili, l'Honor Magic 600 Pro è un acquisto che ha senso: display eccellente, autonomia tra le migliori della categoria, hardware senza compromessi, fotocamera versatile. Viene aggiornato, è bello da tenere in mano, fa tutto quello che deve fare e ha una batteria che dura tantissimo. Bisogna solo accettare di avere in tasca la versione cinese dell’iPhone.

Non siamo davanti a un semplice aggiornamento incrementale, perché questo modello porta con sé caratteristiche davvero importanti: Snapdragon 8 Elite, display AMOLED ad altissima luminosità, fotocamera principale da 200 MP, teleobiettivo periscopico, ricarica cablata e wireless veloce, tanta AI e un comparto connettività molto completo. La filosofia è quella di uno smartphone premium, ma non necessariamente “estremo” nel design. HONOR 600 Pro vuole essere elegante, resistente, potente e soprattutto molto equilibrato. È un prodotto pensato per chi cerca uno smartphone completo, capace di gestire lavoro, intrattenimento, fotografia, video, gaming e produttività AI senza troppe rinunce.

Durante la fase di lancio il brand mette in campo un coupon early bird da 200€, oltre che un'interessante promozione trade-in che offre un ulteriore sconto restituendo il tuo vecchio smartphone. A conti fatti si tratta di uno smartphone con una scheda tecnica capace di rivaleggiare con i vertici della categoria. Pur riscontrando qualche debolezza sulla fotocamera grandangolare e un'elaborazione software a tratti troppo aggressiva, il gran bel display, la cura nel design e la reattività granitica lo rendono un prodotto da tenere assolutamente in considerazione. Il prezzo di lancio è sicuramente fuori misura, ma nel giro di qualche mese potrebbe raggiungere cifre interessanti.

We know that most consumers will not be paying the full R20k to pick up this device, and will go the contract route, which starts at R799 per month, depending on the retailer. From that perspective it may present better value for money, but looking at its RRP, there are some better options out there.

The Honor 400 Pro was a big fish in a relatively small pond, standing out among its mid-range peers with quality hardware and above-average software support. By kicking the price up so high, Honor has supplanted the 600 Pro into the ocean, where it doesn’t cast nearly as large a shadow. Performance remains solid, thanks to the upgrade to Snapdragon 8 Elite, battery life is fantastic, the display is bright and accurate, and those six years of software support are still highly valuable. A decidedly non-flagship camera suite and the bloated OS hurt the overall appeal, however, with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S26 and OnePlus 15 offering superior photography. Moreover, the Galaxy has an extra year of software support, while the OnePlus has even better battery life and performance, both for less money than this. The Honor 600 Pro is competent enough, but it lacks that little extra something to make it stand out against such strong competition.

However, the key factor is the right price tag, and while we don’t know what the UK or EU pricing is, the Malaysian pricing does give us some indication. The Honor 600 Pro starts at RM3,099 (approximately $785 or £580), with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while the 512GB version costs $50 more. However, it’s worth noting that the UK and EU pricing is likely to be much higher once import fees, taxes, and customs rates are taken into account. At the right price, this is an excellent purchase, and I’d also expect Honor to have many pre-order deals that either reduce the price or include free accessories.

Honor 600 ha caratura da flagship (non è una versione ridotta del Pro) ma con un approccio più semplice, creativo ed essenziale, laddove si intente un prezzo interessante e una dotazione completa e adeguata per ogni esigenza. L’autonomia, il display e la compattezza sono punti di forza che dovrebbero convincere qualsiasi consumatore quantomeno a vedere il device dal vivo per rendersi conto della qualità offerta dal brand. Nell’uso, MagicOS 10 è veloce, personalizzabile e ricco di strumenti IA creativi (compreso Gemini al suo completo). La connettività include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC e USB-C, mentre la sicurezza è affidata a sensore d’impronte integrato sotto il display e riconoscimento facciale software. Honor punta quindi a un pacchetto completo, senza rinunce evidenti rispetto ai competitor più costosi.

HONOR 600 arriva con un obiettivo abbastanza chiaro: portare in una fascia di mercato più accessibile alcune caratteristiche che fino a poco tempo fa avremmo associato quasi esclusivamente ai top di gamma. Non parliamo soltanto della solita scheda tecnica “ricca”, ma di un prodotto che prova a distinguersi su tre aspetti fondamentali: autonomia, display e comparto fotografico. La serie numerica di HONOR, ormai da diverse generazioni, è diventata sinonimo di smartphone equilibrati, spesso molto curati nel design e capaci di offrire un’esperienza quotidiana solida senza arrivare necessariamente ai prezzi della famiglia Magic. Con HONOR 600 il produttore alza ulteriormente l’asticella, soprattutto grazie alla batteria da oltre 6000 mAh, al display AMOLED ad altissima luminosità e a una fotocamera principale da 200 MP con stabilizzazione ottica. Non è uno smartphone pensato per chi cerca il massimo assoluto in ogni singola categoria, ma per chi vuole un dispositivo moderno, completo e affidabile, con qualche tratto distintivo molto interessante.

Sul fronte dell’ecosistema, la serie 600 include la funzione OneHop per la sincronizzazione con iPhone e Mac: condivisione file con un tocco, notifiche iPhone visibili sull’Honor 600, accesso ai file del telefono su Mac come se fossero locali. E con Google Gemini integrato, inclusa una prova gratuita di tre mesi di Google AI Pro con accesso a Veo 3.1 per la generazione video e 5TB di spazio cloud, l’ecosistema AI di bordo è tra i più completi attualmente disponibili su Android. One thing that I love (again) about this phone is the face unlock. It is unlike anything I have previously used. HONOR says in its documentation that it uses 2D face unlock, which I can only assume is a lower version of the 3D Face Recognition that's included in the Magic8 Pro. I found it to be just as responsive. When I pick the phone up, it immediately unlocks, so I only have to swipe from the lock screen. I literally cannot fault it. It seems like it does not require you to point your face to the screen at all for it to recognize you and unlock; it is just super fast. The same can be said of the fingerprint sensor; it is quick. Time will tell if MagicOS 10 slows to a crawl. I think OS slowdowns affect all handsets; the more apps you install and have running in the background, the more it slows stuff down, but MagicOS 10 appears to have a (annoying warning when an application seems to be using a lot of battery (you can disable the global alerts). The tools are there to fix lag and slowdowns.

But for the things most people care about, like getting decent photos and not having to worry about battery life, the Honor 600 has a lot going for it.

I have been happy enough with the Honor 600 as my everyday phone. It runs my apps, the battery lasts two days, the design is comfortable to hold, I’m not worried about durability, and the camera is acceptable.I should be saying, sure, it’s a good phone to buy. However, the Honor 600 has made life difficult for itself due to the various software gremlins I’ve already encountered (which makes me think more will arrive the longer I use it) and the irritating way it handles the not-always-on screen. It’s frustrating, as if the software were a little more polished, particularly around calls, and the always-on screen was actually always-on, there wouldn't be any major downsides here. Instead, you’ve got to be prepared for these things, and the chance of other bugs showing up, if you buy the Honor 600. If you’re fine with that, the Honor 600 is a solid mid-range Android phone that has taken one too many side glances at the Apple iPhone’s design.

Queste schede grafiche per portatili non sono adatte al gaming. Anche se dovessero funzionare, ci sarebbero diversi errori grafici e un frame rate molto basso. Questi chips non sono affatto per i gamers! Applicazioni internet e da ufficio, invece non sono problematiche per queste GPUs.

Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

Qualcomm Adreno 830: Unità grafica integrata nel SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite per smartphone con tre fette da 1,1 GHz ciascuna. Cache condivisa integrata da 12 MB per le tre fette. Secondo Qualcomm, è più veloce del 40% rispetto alla generazione precedente (Adreno 750).

Qualcomm Adreno 722: Una iGPU relativamente performante per tablet, telefoni e palmari Android che ha debuttato insieme al SoC Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 e presenta un numero sconosciuto, a partire da agosto 2025, di shader unificati.
