EN→ITOverall, the HP Omen 17 (2021, 17-ck0000) is a solid gaming device. The build quality is good except for the lid which can be a bit spongy if you twist it. We are a bit disappointed because the lid and the bottom plate are made of plastic and the end-price of this machine is on the high side. However, the base of the laptop is stable and rigid. HP Omen 17 (2021, 17-ck0000) is a good gaming device that comes with a comfortable keyboard, powerful hardware under the bonnet, a good cooling solution that is almost quiet under heavy load. The good upgradability options and the rich-in port I/O are making this device one of the best gaming offers on the market.

non è questo il caso dell'HP Omen 17. Il portatile da gioco sfrutta appieno il suo potenziale per quanto riguarda il TDP e il TGP dell'Intel Core i7 12700H e della Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. Ma anche i giocatori possono fare le cose in modo diverso: se le impostazioni di risparmio energetico sono impostate correttamente, il gamer affamato di energia si trasforma in un portatile mansueto, simile a un agnellino, con un'utile durata della batteria

EN→ITHP has once again created a laptop that is absolutely packed with features. Audio is created by Bang & Olufsen, the sound card supports DTS:X Ultra, while there is a present 3.5mm jack. Not to mention the port selection, which not only features a Thunderbolt 4 connector, SD card reader, and a real HDMI 2.1, but also a Mini DisplayPort, three USB Type-A 3.2 (Gen. 1) ports, and a LAN port. This is pretty much every port you’ll ever need in a laptop. Of course, the hardware is a big part of this setup. Its 55W 13th Gen Intel CPU is insanely powerful, while the RTX 4080 is capable of using its full 175W TGP budget. However, there are a couple of things regarding the cooling. For starters, it only uses three heat pipes, which sounds like madness in 2023. And while it can sustain the aforementioned RTX 4080, it doesn’t come without disadvantages. One price to pay is the high internal temperature. Another is the high noise. Last, but not least – it doesn’t quite get to the clocks reached by the Lenovo Legion 7 (16″, 2023).

HP: Fondata nel 1939, l'azienda statunitense è un importante produttore di server e stampanti e una delle aziende IT leader a livello mondiale. Fino al 2015, la società si chiamava Hewlett-Packard Company. Dopo una scissione, la divisione computer è stata ribattezzata HP Inc.
Nel 2023, HP deteneva una quota di mercato approssimativa del 22% delle vendite globali di PC, diventando così il numero 2 dopo Lenovo.
Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo. Specialmente i giochi impegnativi come Crysis, Age of Conan, o Mass Effect sono utilizzabili soltanto con impostazioni grafiche ridotte. I giochi meno pesanti (e più datati), come Fifa 08, Command & Conquer 3, o Battlefield 2142 possono essere giocati con livello di dettagli più alto.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU: Scheda grafica per laptop di fascia alta basata sul chip Ampere GA106 con 3072 core. Disponibile in diverse versioni con un TDP da 60 a 115 Watt.
Queste schede grafiche sono paragonabili alle entusiasmanti schede grafiche desktop, come la 9800M GT. Le schede hanno un core simile alle relative schede desktop, ma hanno un clock inferiore e spesso hanno processori con meno ombre. I giochi moderni come Age of Conan, Race Driver Grid, Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, o Gothic 3 dovrebbero scorrere in modo fluido con dettagli elevati (Crysis dovrebbe funzionare con dettagli medio alti).

SoC octa-core di fascia alta basato su Tiger Lake (serie H45) per computer portatili da gioco e workstation. Gli otto core della CPU funzionano da 2,3 GHz a 4,6 GHz. La GPU UHD Graphics integrata offre 32 UE fino a 1,45 GHz. Il chip è prodotto sul processo Intel SuperFin di seconda generazione a 10 nm.
i9-11900H:
SoC octa-core di fascia alta basato su Tiger Lake (serie H45) per portatili da gioco e workstation. Gli otto core della CPU hanno un clock di 2.5 - 4.9 GHz. La GPU UHD Graphics integrata offre 32 core fino a 1,45 GHz. Il chip è prodotto con il processo SuperFin (migliorato a 10nm).
Intel Alder Lake-S:
i7-12700H:
Un processore mobile basato su Alder-Lake con 6 core ad alte prestazioni e 8 core efficienti. I core ad alte prestazioni offrono l'hyper-threading, consentendo l'elaborazione di 20 thread. Il processore opera a frequenze comprese tra 1,7 e 4,7 GHz e supporta vPro.
i9-12900HX: CPU mobile basata su Alder Lake con 8 core ad alte prestazioni e 8 core efficienti. I core ad alte prestazioni offrono l'hyper threading, che porta a 24 thread che possono essere elaborati. La CPU ha un clock da 1,7 a 5 GHz. La CPU non supporta vPro e la memoria ECC.
Intel Raptor Lake-HX:
