I do have one new complaint, which is that by now, we should all be using USB 3.2 Gen 2 and HDMI 2.0. There really isn't an excuse for USB 3.2 Gen 1 anymore, especially on the premium tier. I'd also love to see some of the color options that we have on HP's consumer laptops.

EN→ITNow, we have to be fair – the EliteBook x360 1040 G8 is not a cheap laptop. You need to sacrifice a good amount of your budget in order to get your hands on one. However, the premium you pay does not come without coverage since you get a ton of features, that you might never even use. Not only do you get an HP Active Pen inside the box, but there is an NFC coil for quick pairing with a mobile device or wireless Smart Card. Also, most of the bezel above the display is put to good use as it holds a bunch of sensors. This includes an ambient light sensor, a proximity one (that detects your presence and logs in and out of the notebook with the help of the IR sensor.

EN→ITThe HP Elite x360 1040 G10 left us with many positive impressions. The magnesium chassis is rigid, and the input devices are comfortable. The Sunon cooling fan is quiet even when the processor is stressed at max and in this scenario, the keyboard doesn’t feel too hot to the touch. In short, the comfort under load is very good. The fan is quiet but the CPU clocks under load are high which sounds great for a light and compact notebook with transforming capabilities. The NVMe of our device is decently snappy and it doesn’t get toasty during benchmarking. This reminds us that you get just one M.2 slot for storage and the memory is soldered but the maximum amount of 32GB LPDDR5 should be enough for most users. The 1200p IPS display (AUO AUO2BAB) is a good choice for work or entertainment.

HP: Fondata nel 1939, l'azienda statunitense è un importante produttore di server e stampanti e una delle aziende IT leader a livello mondiale. Fino al 2015, la società si chiamava Hewlett-Packard Company. Dopo una scissione, la divisione computer è stata ribattezzata HP Inc.
Nel 2023, HP deteneva una quota di mercato approssimativa del 22% delle vendite globali di PC, diventando così il numero 2 dopo Lenovo.
Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.
Intel UHD Graphics 620:
GPU integrata (GT2, 24 EUs) si trova su alcuni modelli CPU Kaby-Lake-Refresh (15 W ULV series). Tecnicamente è identica alla precedente GPU Kaby-Lake chiamata HD Graphics 620.
Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs:
Scheda grafica integrata nei SoC Intel Tiger Lake G4 basati sulla nuova architettura Gen. 12 con 96 EU (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). La frequenza di clock dipende dal modello di processore. I chip Tiger Lake sono prodotti nel moderno processo 10nm+ di Intel.
Intel HD Graphics 620:
GPU integrata (GT2, 24 EUs) che si trova su alcuni modelli di CPU Kaby-Lake-Refresh (15 W ULV series). Tecnicamente identica alla precedente GPU Kaby-Lake chiamata HD Graphics 620.

Intel Kaby Lake Refresh:
i5-8550U:
Processore Kaby-Lake-Refresh basato su un processore quad-core low power. I quattro cores hanno un clock tra 1.8 e 4 GHz (Turbo Boost) e supportano l'HyperThreading. La GPU integrata ha un clock tra 300 e 1,150 MHz. Il SoC è realizzato in 14nm+ FinFET.

i7-10810U: Processore esadecimale a bassa potenza basato su Comet Lake (tecnicamente identico a Whiskey Lake e ancora prodotto in 14nm++). I core della CPU possono clockare tra 1.1 e 4.9 GHz con HyperThreading (12 thread). Il controller di memoria integrato supporta DDR4-2666 e utilizzando cTDP su/giù le prestazioni possono essere regolate dall'OEM (12,5 - 25 Watt possibili, 15W di default). La CPU supporta vPro (a differenza di i7-10710U).
i7-10710U: Processore esadecimale a bassa potenza basato su Comet Lake (tecnicamente identico a Whiskey Lake e ancora prodotto in 14nm++). I core della CPU possono clockare tra 1,1 e 4,7 GHz (tutti e 6 i core a 4,1 GHz max.) con HyperThreading (12 thread). Il controller di memoria integrato supporta DDR4-2666 e utilizzando cTDP su/giù le prestazioni possono essere regolate dall'OEM (12,5 - 25 Watt possibili, 15W di default).
i5-10210U: Processore quad-core a bassa potenza basato su Comet Lake (tecnicamente identico a Whiskey Lake e ancora prodotto in 14nm++). I core della CPU possono clockare tra 1,6 e 4,2 GHz (tutti e 4 i core a 3,9 GHz max.) con HyperThreading (8 thread). Il controller di memoria integrato supporta DDR4-2666 e utilizzando cTDP su/giù le prestazioni possono essere regolate dall'OEM (10 - 25 Watt possibili, 15W di default). Rispetto al più veloce i5-10510U, la cache di livello 3 è stata ridotta da 8 a 6 MB.
Intel Tiger Lake:
i7-1165G7:
Processore quad-core a bassa potenza basato su Tiger Lake per computer portatili sottili e leggeri. I quattro cores si aggirano intorno ai 2,8 - 4,7 GHz. Prodotto in 10nm+ alla Intel.
Intel Alder Lake-M:
Intel Raptor Lake-U:
i7-1355U: CPU mobile basata su Alder Lake con 2 core ad alte prestazioni e 8 core efficienti. I core ad alte prestazioni offrono l'hyper threading, che porta a 12 thread che possono essere elaborati. Il clock della CPU va da 1,2 a 5 GHz. Il TDP è specificato a 15 Watt.
