However, if you want a portable computer that won’t baulk at demanding tasks, the Aspire 5755G offers superlative performance. A higher-resolution screen would be nice, as would be slightly more practical battery life, but for practical, everyday computing, from a machine you won’t need to replace before it sees its first birthday, the 5755G is a very solid buy.

Build quality and battery life was average, but it is quite cheap as compared to the Lenovo G570, which has similar specs. The 5755 will appeal to people wanting a no-nonsense, no-frills notebook. As far as design is concerned, the all-metal finish of the Lenovo Z570 could appeal more to some. However, on its own the Acer Aspire 5755 is a decent buy.

Acer: Nel 1976, l'azienda è stata fondata a Taiwan con il nome Multitech e nel 1987 è stata ribattezzata Acer o Acer Group. La gamma di prodotti comprende, ad esempio, laptop, tablet, smartphone, desktop, monitor, TV e periferiche per computer. Dal 2007, il gruppo si è fuso con Gateway Inc. e Packard Bell, che commercializzano anche le proprie linee di prodotti per laptop.
I computer Acer sono progettati per una varietà di scopi, inclusi ultrabook per uso mobile, laptop da gioco per giocatori, opzioni convenienti per le attività quotidiane e laptop convertibili 2 in 1 per la versatilità. I cores con memoria grafica condivisa in questa categoria hanno il vantaggio delle minori emissioni di calore e della maggiore autonomia della batteria. Per ufficio, internet, image processing, e video editing queste schede grafiche sono utilizzabili senza particolari problematiche.
Intel HD Graphics 3000: 3 imminenti (Q1 2011) schede grafiche integrate nel processore Intel Sandy Bridge (Core ix-2xxx). La 3000 / 200 è la versione più veloce internamente chiamata GT2 con 12 Execution Units (EUs).
Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.
NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M: Più modelli basati su vari chips della generazione Fermi. Specificamente, la GT 630M esiste nelle varianti GF108/GF106/GF116, ma sono tutte essenzialmente GPUs GeForce GT 540M o 555M con un nome diverso. Esiste anche una variante GF117, realizzata su una litologia da 28nm con ridotto consumo energetico.
