On the negative side, we’ll admit that we weren’t fans of the MagLev keyboard, nor the all USB-C port decision. Beside the fact that it feeds trolls who can now claim that Apple was right, we’d still prefer to have straight USB Type A on a laptop rather than have another dongle to lose. The MagLev keyboard? Well, you get used to it, and the snappy sound and feel is tolerable.

Si potrebbe perfezionare con una SSD più veloce, con il ritorno alla memoria RAM su slot e con una configurazione italiana meno costosa. A fine maggio 2018, la più economica in vendita nel nostro paese ha processore Core i7 e 512 GB di spazio SSD: costa 1999 euro, al netto di offerte e promozioni (molto comuni su questi prodotti). Per avere il modello 4K con 16 GB di RAM, servono 2499 euro. Sono prezzi importanti se confrontati con quelli del nuovo Dell XPS 15 9570 (edizione 2018), in vendita da pochi giorni a partire da 1599 euro; l'hardware è diverso (Kaby Lake-G vs Coffee Lake con GTX-1050), ma la resa dell'ultimo dovrebbe essere appena migliore. Di conseguenza, preferire il convertibile al design classico deve essere una scelta fatta in base alle necessità di utilizzo. As we’ve already mentioned several times, the price of an XPS 15 9575 2-in-1 is pretty high. But if this is not a problem for you, then the machine is worth it in every aspect. Many business laptops, even high-end ones, are bulky and solid in order to be more reliable but XPS 15 9575 is only 9-16 mm thick, and in terms of dimensions looks like a 13-14-inch model thanks to its super slim bezels. However, this doesn’t mean it’s unreliable – its construction is made of aluminum, steel, carbon and Gorilla Glas 4 glass, and it also doesn’t sink in or make awkward noises even under significant pressure. The only setback as a result of the dimensions is the lack of USB Type-A ports, however, there is a dongle in the package.
