Per la scuola. Robusto, utilizzabile fin da subito e con ottima autonomia sono le caratteristiche della nuova linea Education di Dell. La combinazione di queste caratteristiche ci ha convinto abbastanza durante la prova, e il Dell Latitude 11 può essere utilizzato anche in ufficio.

It's a full PC that runs Windows 10 and includes a 250GB hard drive to store homework locally. It's tough enough to withstand bumps and drops. However, this notebook's Intel Celeron N2840 CPU and 2GB of RAM are sluggish even when nothing is running. Despite the system's great keyboard and loud speakers, it's hard to recommend this laptop to students or to teachers who want to outfit classes with tech.

Fatto per essere robustot! Dell ha combinato un portatile da 11.6" con una CPU energeticamente efficiente. Stando al produttore, questa combinazione dovrebbe consentire al dispositivo di resistere anche ad un'intera giornata a scuola. Abbiamo deciso di dare uno sguardo da vicino a queste dichiarazioni. Vediamo se il Latitude 3189 mantiene le promesse nella nostra recensione.

Dell: Dell è un produttore statunitense (con sede in Texas) di hardware per computer fondato nel 1984 ed è uno dei maggiori produttori internazionali sia in termini di quota di mercato che di modelli di notebook. La sua linea di prodotti comprende desktop, notebook, sistemi di archiviazione, monitor, server, stampanti, elettronica di consumo e periferiche. Dell offre laptop adatti a varie applicazioni, come laptop aziendali, laptop da gioco, ultra portatili e workstation. I laptop aziendali Dell delle serie Latitude e Precision sono un'opzione per utenti professionali e aziende.
Nel 2023, Dell deteneva una quota di mercato di circa il 17% delle vendite globali di PC, classificandosi al terzo posto dopo Lenovo e HP.

Soltanto i giochi datasi possono essere giocati in modo fluido con questi chips grafici (se non richiedono troppe prestazioni). I cores con memoria grafica condivisa in questa categoria hanno il vantaggio delle minori emissioni di calore e della maggiore autonomia della batteria. Per ufficio, internet, image processing, e video editing queste schede grafiche sono utilizzabili senza particolari problematiche.
Intel HD Graphics (Bay Trail): GPU Bay Trail SoCs integrata per tablet e notebook. Si basa sulla GPU Ivy Bridge con quattro Execution Units e supporta DirectX 11.
La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata. Tuttavia, queste schede forniscono ancora abbastanza potenza per le applicazioni da ufficio e la proiezioni di video (ma non per i video HD).
Intel HD Graphics 505:
Adattatore grafico integrato low-end con supporto DirectX 12, che possiamo trovare su alcuni SoCs ULV della serie Apollo Lake.

Soc con una processore Atom quad core integrato con clock da 2.16 - 2.66 GHz e una GPU Intel HD Graphics.
Pentium N4200:
Frugale SoC quad-core della serie Apollo Lake per notebook economici. Gira con clocks tra 1.1-2.5 GHz ed integra un adattatore grafico che usa DirectX 12. Rispetto alla precedente generazione Atom, le performance per-MHz dell'architettura CPU sono state nettamente migliorate e anche l'adattatore grafico è stato migliorato.

Questa diagonale di schermo è abbastanza grande per i tablets ma piccola per i subnotebooks. Anche alcuni convertibili usano questa dimensione.
I display con dimensioni maggiori consentono risoluzioni più elevate. Quindi, i dettagli come le lettere sono più grandi. D'altro canto, il consumo energetico è inferiore negli schermi con diagonali piccole e su dispositivi più piccoli, più leggeri ed economici.

Questo è il tipico peso dei tablets molto grandi, subnotebooks, ultrabooks e convertibili con diagonale del display da 11-13”.
1.427 kg:
