Il suo prezzo di listino è pari a 399 euro, online si trova intorno ai 300 e sì, lui mi ha convinto. Se volete qualcosina in più rispetto a Note 13 4G consiglio di saltare Note 13 5G e passare a questo Note 13 Pro 5G perché ne vale la pena e lo consiglio anche rispetto al Note 13 Pro+ 5G perché lì si arriva a 449 euro di listino ma le differenze non sono così nette.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G è uno smartphone di buon livello nelle specifiche e anche nella pratica. Partendo dalla fotocamera si vede la volontà di spingere a poter far scattare l’utente in qualsiasi tipo di situazione. Chiaramente non siamo ai livelli di top di gamma ma per la fascia di prezzo a cui questo Redmi ambisce ci è sembrato equilibrato soprattutto per la presenza di un sensore da 200 Megapixel che Xiaomi ha voluto implementare in questo device soprattutto per sfruttare lo zoom ‘’in sensor’’. È un buon sensore che permette scatti dettagliati. Peccato per gli altri sensori ultra grandangolare e macro che sono un po’ limitativi anche se sappiamo che l’utente medio di questo device poco li utilizzerà. Ci è piaciuto l’aumento della luminosità del display e anche della sua risoluzione: finalmente niente più Full HD sulla fascia media ma almeno 1,5K che permette qualche dettaglio di definizione in più.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G è uno smartphone di buon livello nelle specifiche e anche nella pratica. Partendo dalla fotocamera si vede la volontà di spingere a poter far scattare l’utente in qualsiasi tipo di situazione. Chiaramente non siamo ai livelli di top di gamma ma per la fascia di prezzo a cui questo Redmi ambisce ci è sembrato equilibrato soprattutto per la presenza di un sensore da 200 Megapixel che Xiaomi ha voluto implementare in questo device soprattutto per sfruttare lo zoom ‘’in sensor’’. È un buon sensore che permette scatti dettagliati. Peccato per gli altri sensori ultra grandangolare e macro che sono un po’ limitativi anche se sappiamo che l’utente medio di questo device poco li utilizzerà. Ci è piaciuto l’aumento della luminosità del display e anche della sua risoluzione: finalmente niente più Full HD sulla fascia media ma almeno 1,5K che permette qualche dettaglio di definizione in più.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G is priced at Rs 25,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, Rs 27,999 for 8GB RAM and 256GB variant and Rs 29,999 for 12GB RAM and 256GB variant. After analysing its features and performance, we feel Xiaomi could have priced it a bit more aggressively; it’s a Redmi Note after all that is meant to have a competitive price tag. The phone isn’t bad at all and has a good spread of features and decent performance. It’s just that the competition is too stiff in the segment. Let’s look at the other options available in this budget, starting with a sort of in-house competition from Poco. The 256GB variant of the Poco F5 5G with a more powerful SoC can be purchased under 30K. Then you have the Poco X6 Pro 5G, again with a more powerful Dimensity D8300 Ultra SoC selling for well under 30K; in fact, you get its 512GB variant for Rs 27,999.

The cameras, for the most part, are good. However, the additional modules are weaker, and this is noticeable in some modes. Among the drawbacks, the only thing to highlight is perhaps the material of the body, which collects fingerprints, smudges, and dust quite noticeably. Now, in some ways these phones are all massively different, starting with the cameras. In our side-by-side test the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G served up the most natural colours. Both Pros are also a step up for low light and HDR shots. However, any kind of motion means blurry photos! Performance also improves as you upgrade from the Redmi Note 13 5G up to the Pro and Pro Plus models. The regular can cope with PubG etc but you'll need a Xiaomi Pro to play Genshin Impact. Battery life is excellent on all three Xiaomi smartphones, but the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and that Plus model boost the charging speeds. And you've also got some bonuses like full water resistance on the Note 13 Pro Plus 5G, great news at this budget phone price.

As we already said, the Redmi Note 13 Pro offers a substantial upgrade over its predecessor without asking more for the upgrade. It's a solid all-rounder, leaving very little to complain about. The display is superb, the performance is good, the main camera is unrivaled, and the fast charging solution is competitive as well as battery life. We would still like to see a better ultrawide camera, though, and a hardware proximity sensor. The virtual ones are just awful. Does the phone get our approval? It sure does, but if you are not in a hurry, you may want to hold off a little longer and see if the competition has something better for you in the upcoming few months. Even so, we believe that the Redmi Note 13 Pro will remain competitive throughout 2024 as it's an excellent piece of hardware, especially when the price is expected to go down.
