Nel complesso, Poco X6 è un telefono molto capace con prestazioni e durata della batteria decenti. Per non parlare del fatto che può facilmente eseguire la maggior parte dei giochi a cui puoi pensare, come Genshin e Honkai seppure con qualche rinuncia per gli effetti grafici. Può fare affidamento su un ottimo display, buone prestazioni e una fotocamera principale che produce foto di qualità in condizioni di luminosità ambientale ideale. D'altro canto, la Miui 14 per quanto collaudata riserva ancora qualche risvolto migliorabile (come la pubblicità nelle app). Poco X6 va scelto per l'autonomia e il design minimal sfruttando lo sconto proposto sul sito: il prezzo nominale potrebbe essere ritoccato verso il basso, considerando tutto.

Poco X6 5G è uno smartphone che ha ampiamente soddisfatto le nostre aspettative, andando anche oltre quello che pensavamo. Ogni volta che ci troviamo a testare un Poco sappiamo che abbiamo a disposizione un terminale che, in relazione alla categoria di appartenenza, fa delle prestazioni fulcro di esso. Ma in questo caso Poco è andata oltre, offrendo un device che ha molteplici qualità, non solo legate a benchmark e rapidità. Eccezionale a nostro avviso l’autonomia di esercizio, degna di un battery phone. Ci ha invece lasciato l’amaro in bocca vedere ancora la presenza della MIUI 14 basata su Android 13 e non la più moderna e funzionale HyperOS con Android 14 annesso: è vero che Poco X6 gode di una politica di aggiornamento 3+4, ma è altrettanto un dato di fatto che il primo dei 3 major update se ne andrà via tra solo qualche mese. The Poco X6 5G launched in India with its big brother, the Poco X6 5G Pro. Both smartphones roll out in the Indian market as competition that even pricier phones are afraid of. The Poco X6 5G launched in India at a starting price of ₹21,999, and believe me this smartphone is worth every penny. According to my testing and experience, the Poco X6 5G is a proper mid-range killer. Its beautiful and responsive display is as good as a sub-35K smartphone’s display. The processor is also a mid-range chipset, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 runs games and other apps smoothly. The low-light camera is an exception, but otherwise, the camera is brilliant including the front camera. Coming to its battery, it’s one thing that Poco should focus on. If that’s fixed….this smartphone is such a gem. However, I really loved the fast charging in this smartphone.

In a vacuum, the Poco X6 is a great purchase, it has excellent specifications for the price, and it’s very enjoyable to live with. The problem comes via its Pro sibling, which only costs £50 more and is a much more compelling option. The X6 Pro stands out as one of the best options for gaming in its price bracket, and that’s definitely not the case with the standard Poco X6. However, the display, speakers and charging speeds are still a cut above most of the competition. You still get that solid main camera, too. If you know you’ll never be gaming, or doing anything processor-heavy like video editing, then you could save yourself some cash here. In most cases, though, I’d advise saving up the extra and going for the Pro. Then you’ll get double the storage, Android 14, and a much faster processor. It’s also worth considering the Samsung Galaxy A34, which can currently be found for less than the X6 and offers longer software support and far less bloatware. With that model, you’d lose out on some performance and get a less impressive display, though.

We liked the Poco X6 for its IP54-rated design, but the real showstopper is the Dolby Vision OLED with all sorts of niceties. The 67W fast charging and the new chip are quite alright, too. The cameras do well in broad daylight, but the low-light performance is mediocre at best. We did expect more. Finally, the Poco X6 should have launched with HyperOS like the Poco X6 Pro, but alas - it comes with Android 13 and MIUI 14. The HyperOS update is around the corner, but it will eat one of those three promised major updates right after you buy the phone, which is a terrible trick. Overall, the Poco X6 is a solid phone with competitive price and features. And that is why it is easy to recommend in spite of some not so major flaws - it is just a solid offer.
