Gli utenti già possessori della precedente generazione possono tranquillamente evitare di acquistare questo TAB S8 ULTRA e le altre due varianti; per chi deve o meglio vuole approcciarsi per la prima volta al mondo dei tablet Android, vale il discorso fatto sopra con l'unica eccezione delle differenze di prezzo tra i due prodotti (se minime, acquisterei quello più recente). Per tutti gli altri, in primis appassionati che pretendono il massimo, che non si accontentano o che necessitano di un display così ampio, beh la risposta è pressoché scontata. Qualora si voglia invece un dispositivo comunque valido, performante, magari col display touch e non necessariamente un tablet, le alternative anche in casa Samsung ci sono e sono altrettanto interessanti (Galaxy Book2/Book2 360 ed i recentissimi Galaxy Book2 PRO/Book2 PRO 360).

In soldoni significa ottenere addirittura fino a 14 orer di riproduzione video, fino a 148 ore di riproduzione audio e ancora fino a 8 ore di navigazione continua sul web. Sostanzialmente non avrete problemi a concludere una giornata lavorativa stressante con il massimo delle prestazioni ma soprattutto potrete spingervi oltre se utilizzerete il tablet per intrattenimento perché in quel caso potrete garantirvi più giorni con una singola ricarica. E poi c'è anche la ricarica rapida. Sì, perché seppure non in confezione, potrete spingervi fino ad una ricarica da 45W che significa avere tempi decisamente ridotti per portare il Tab S8 Ultra dallo 0% al 100%. Sì, perché potrete recuperare l'intera carica del tablet in soli 90 minuti. Tempi esigui se pensate al fatto che la batteria è comunque di grosse dimensioni.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra riesce nel suo intento. Dare un senso al mondo dei tablet Android di fascia alta, anzi altissima. Ultra. Lo schermo è fantastico e le possibilità offerte dalla combinazione di software (anche con DeX), S Pen e cover/tastiera sono inarrivabili nel mondo tablet. Se poi fa per voi, soprattutto considerando prezzo e dimensioni, quello non è scontato.

This product is definitely not for everyone – mainly because of the size and the price. I’d have to say – for those who just want a large device mainly for gaming or watching shows on the go but are still able to whip our a document and email side-by-side and do work, then the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is pretty much the jack-of-all-trades that you’re looking for. Plus, being able to draw with the S Pen is a huge boon that I think many people will want. That kickstand accessory is definitely one of the best kickstands I’ve used so far, and it just works very well – and that keyboard is also magnificent to type on. Spending this much on a premium tablet might be questionable for some but I am not here to tell you how to spend your money. This review is to let you know more in-depth details about the tablet before purchasing. If you’d like to use the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra as a tablet and for drawing etc, you’ll need to shell out Rs 1,08,999 for the Wi-Fi only variant and Rs 1,22,999 if you want 5G. The keyboard cover helps squeeze out its full potential though, and that’ll cost you another Rs 22,999. All in all, we’re talking big money here. Given its big size and big sticker price, it’s clear that the device might not appeal to everyone. The keyboard cover does app more productivity-focused use cases, but the fact is that the Tab S8 Ultra can’t really replace a laptop, given Android’s limitations as a desktop OS. The lack of a built-in kickstand and average battery life are small concerns too. That said, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is a supersized slate that offers a gorgeous display, a useful S Pen and tons of handy features, making it a powerful tool in your arsenal, especially if you’re a creative professional.

The Tab S8 Ultra is an impressive machine, but its size and price will be a barrier for some people. Being an Android fan (yes, we exist!), I was stoked to get my hands on the Tab S8 Ultra. While I appreciate its size and power, it’s made me question whether bigger is always better. After all, tablets are supposed to be relatively portable devices. The Tab S8 Ultra isn’t hard to carry around, but it’s also not as discreet as an iPad Air. While the large OLED screen makes content look amazing, that same size is also a hindrance. I also have to question Samsung’s claim that the Tab S8 Ultra can replace your laptop. While it can certainly mimic the laptop experience, proper laptops are simply more responsive and performant. Android OS isn’t as terrible as some say, but it’s not topping Windows or macOS anytime soon.

There’s still room for improvement because it’s not as fast as the Apple iPad Pro, and the battery life could be longer, but it’s still better than most other tablets out there. If you already own Samsung tech then choosing a tablet from the Galaxy Tab S8 series is a no-brainer because all of their devices work really well together.

Still, the IdeaPad Slim 7 Carbon is so easy to fall in love with. I think the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra fits into a specific niche — a single device for both tablet entertainment activities and getting real work done. I love that not only can I switch between the two seamlessly, but I can also often mix the two — I’ll have a word document opened while I have a YouTube video playing in the corner of the screen. Or I’ll be in a Zoom call while I’m actively scrolling through Instagram at the same time. With the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, I can mix work and play. And for me, it’s worth the $1,100 — particularly with the keyboard case included free of charge.

With my limited hands-on time , I wasn’t able to check out all these features (things like Duo and the second-screen for Windows weren’t available, either). So we’ll need to get these devices in our hands for more in-depth testing to know if a Samsung-meets-Google version of Android on a 14.6-inch tablet will make a good laptop substitute. If you’re already sure you want a Tab S8, you can pre-order them today. The S8 starts at $700, the S8+ at $900 and the Ultra at $1,100, and those who pre-order will get free keyboard cases thrown in. But as always, I’d suggest waiting until we can do a full review before spending hundreds of dollars on an Android tablet.

Still, $1,099 is a lot of money for an Android tablet, and Google and Samsung have never been able to close the app quality gap with iPadOS. With the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra Samsung has crafted an absolutely massive, tech-filled tablet that I am sure will likely be misunderstood. With a 14.6-inch display, the Tab S8 Ultra is one of the biggest consumer tablets around. It’s bigger than the iPad Pro and it’s probably bigger than your laptop too. That makes it a very niche proposition for many. It’s also a noticeable step up on its more traditionally sized siblings, the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. For me, I think this size is what makes this slate interesting and while I don’t doubt it’ll be lamented for being ‘too big’ the fact is that I have been hankering for an iPad Pro with a screen this size for a long time. Of course, a big screen like this comes with a very big price tag. The base price here is £999 for Wi-Fi, 128GB storage and 8GB RAM. Pay £1149 and you can add 5G support. If you’re after more storage and more RAM, then you can pay £1249 (Wi-FI) and £1399 (5G) for 512GB and 16GB RAM.

Chip grafico per smartphone e tablet integrato nel SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Qualcomm sostiene che è il 30% più veloce dell'Adreno 660 nel SoC Snapdragon 888. Per Android dovrebbe essere una delle schede grafiche più veloci alla fine del 2021.

Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

SD 8 Gen 1:

SoC di fascia alta per smartphone introdotto alla fine del 2021 e prodotto a 4 nm da Samsung. Integra un "Prime Core" basato su un'architettura ARM Cortex-X2 con clock fino a 3 GHz. Altri tre core più performanti sono basati sull'A710 ma con clock fino a 2,5 GHz. Inoltre, sono integrati quattro core di risparmio energetico che sono basati sull'architettura ARM Cortex-A510 e clock fino a 1,8 GHz. Oltre ai core del processore, il SoC integra un modem WiFi 6e, un DSP Hexagon (per l'accelerazione AI) e un ISP Spectra. Il controller di memoria integrato supporta la memoria veloce LPDDR5 fino a 3.200 MHz. Il 5G è ora incluso nel chip con il modem Snapdragon X65.
