Few ultraportables straddle the line between professional, creator and gamer-friendly features quite like the Galaxy Book4 Ultra. If you’re wedded to Windows, its superb battery life and gorgeous screen make it a fine alternative to the Dell XPS 16 and Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2. It delivers potent graphics without the OTT styling found on a lot of laptops built with play in mind, and isn’t short on power either. A merely OK keyboard and average audio let the side down a bit, and there’s no escaping the fact that it isn’t the best value option out there. Even a MacBook Pro in a similar spec is more affordable. But anyone already embedded in the Samsung ecosystem will feel right at home.

The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Ultra is a fine laptop, there’s no denying that. Samsung always makes some solid hardware on most of its device lineup. But this is certainly never going to replace a MacBook, if that’s what you’re looking for. If not, and you’re just looking for a premium Windows laptop with a wonderful display and solid build, then this is a great choice. Though you can find something similar for less with other brands.

Like its predecessor, the new Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Ultra is powerful enough to handle almost anything you throw at it — including everyday work, video editing and high-end gaming. On top of that, it has a vivid OLED display and is light and thin enough to take with you wherever you go. And let’s not forget its incredible battery life for a Windows 11 laptop. Does the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra challenge the MacBook Pro 16-inch with an M3 Pro chip? In terms of overall performance and battery life, Apple’s laptop wins. However, if you’re a gamer and want access to all the games available on Windows, the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra is the better choice. The Samsung laptop also has a USB-A port for legacy devices, which is something the MacBook Pro lacks. Even if you don’t care for Samsung apps and features, the Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Ultra is an easy choice if you’re looking for an all-around killer Windows 11 laptop. NVIDIA NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU:

Scheda grafica di fascia media per portatili basata sull'architettura Ada Lovelace. Offre 6 GB GDDR6 (96 Bit) ed è configurabile con un TGP di 35 - 115 W (+ Dynamic Boost).

Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo. Specialmente i giochi impegnativi come Crysis, Age of Conan, o Mass Effect sono utilizzabili soltanto con impostazioni grafiche ridotte. I giochi meno pesanti (e più datati), come Fifa 08, Command & Conquer 3, o Battlefield 2142 possono essere giocati con livello di dettagli più alto.

Questo processore Core Ultra di 1a generazione è arrivato a sostituire i chip Core di 13a generazione; ha 16 core (6 + 8 + 2) e 22 thread a disposizione. I core Performance, che sono 6, funzionano fino a 4,8 GHz, mentre i core Efficient, che sono 10 (8 core principali più 2 extra che si trovano nell'isola Low Power), funzionano fino a 3,8 GHz. La NPU AI Boost integrata offre due motori Gen 3 per l'accelerazione hardware dei carichi di lavoro AI. Il consumo energetico "minimo assicurato" di questo processore laptop è di 28 W, mentre il consumo energetico Turbo dovrebbe rimanere entro i 115 W.
