Il tablet consente l'accesso non solo alle applicazioni del Windows Store, ma anche ai normali programmi desktop. Tuttavia, non contateci troppo, in quanto appena 1 GB di RAM rappresenta un collo di bottiglia per il sistema. Ma coloro che voglio usare il tablet per far girare apps e vedere contenuti media non noteranno i limiti della RAM. Grazie al modem 3G integrato, il tablet riesce ad accedere ad internet senza connessione WLAN. Con l'acquisto del tablet, avrete 200 MB al mese di traffico dati gratuito su rete mobile per due anni. La scheda SIM la trovate nella confezione del dispositivo. Il luminoso display IPS è attraente. L'autonomia della batteria del tablet non è spettacolare, ma soddisfacente.

Se non vi importa del modem 3G, il Dell Venue 8 Pro 3845 merita sicuramente uno sguardo, in quanto i due dispositivi sono quasi identici come struttura e montano praticamente lo stesso hardware, ma il Venue 8 Pro 3845 costa appena 150 Euro (~$177). Nei nostri tests della batteria che simulano uno scenario quotidiano, il tablet Dell fa meglio, ed il suo display offre maggiori luminosità e contrasto.

Il lato posteriore accumula presto le ditate.

Gli slots per le schede si trovano dentro il lato posteriore del case.

Il supporto per la SIM-card è per scehde Micro-SIM.

I riflessi rendono difficile vedere i contenuti sotto la luce del sole.
