It has a weak processor which can’t even perform everyday tasks smoothly and consistently, a below-average battery life, questionable long-term durability due to its poor build quality, and an unusable camera. Yes, the flipping is fun and other clamshell foldables cost a massive premium, but that alone is not nearly enough to make up for it being a generally bad phone. My suggestion? Get a regular, non-flip phone in this price range, which will serve you much better.

Il suo prezzo di lancio di €699,90 è senza dubbio il suo biglietto da visita più convincente, un tentativo concreto di rendere questa tecnologia più “democratica”. Un dispositivo che, pur non gridando al miracolo, fa il suo dovere con onestà.L’idea di avere un pieghevole in tasca a questo prezzo è davvero allettante, comodo da chiuso e, quando lo si apre on un gesto quasi teatrale si ha un display ampio e fluido. La cerniera, poi, mi ha sorpreso positivamente: è solida, dà fiducia, e non ho mai avuto la sensazione che potesse cedere. Anche la piega, sebbene presente, non è mai stata un vero fastidio nell’uso quotidiano.Il display esterno è un vero game changer rispetto al passato, permettendoti di fare un sacco di cose senza aprire il telefono.

Il suo obiettivo è chiaro: portare il formato pieghevole a un pubblico più ampio, con un equilibrio tra estetica, funzionalità e prezzo che al lancio è di 699,99 euro. Con questo costo però entra in competizione con alcuni modelli Flip 2024 e rischia di mettersi da solo alle corde. C’è di buono che ZTE offre un esclusivo Premium Service che permette una sostituzione gratuita del display e della cerniera anche per danni accidentali entro il primo anno dall’acquisto.

Nubia Flip 2 5G è un telefono destinato a migliorare con gli aggiornamenti e siamo fiduciosi che Zte saprà valorizzare al massimo l’hardware integrato in questo riuscito flip phone. Ma vi starete chiedendo: e le foto? Ecco, l’imaging dimostra come un valido e unico sensore principale dotato di una buon angolo di campo possa essere davvero “tuttofare” e supportare al meglio le necessità fotografiche, purché non siano evolute ed esose. Nubia Flip 2 5G scatta bene in ogni contesto, anche al buio, e il sensore di profondità aiuta a gestire i ritratti con una precisione elevata del perimetro del soggetto. Non è un cameraphone ma per posizionamento e target è capace di fare la felicità degli utenti, in particolare se le condizioni di luce ambientale sono ottimali. Insomma, un smartphone dal mix interessante, per certi versi perfetto, in un formato che piace sempre perché compatto e alla moda.

Nubia Flip 2 5G ci è piaciuto nelle prove di questa recensione, soprattutto considerando il fatto che arriva sul mercato italiano con un prezzo ufficiale di 699,90 €, acquistabile presso i negozi dei principali operatori telefonici. A questo prezzo di lancio non ci sono altri pieghevoli di questo tipo, e se il prezzo dovesse scendere fra qualche mese rappresenterebbe un’offerta di valore ancora maggiore. Ma vale la pena comprarlo? Se state cercando un pieghevole a buon mercato, ci sembra un buon modo per entrare in questo mondo. Ma se cercate solo un ottimo telefono sotto i 700 euro, allora la prospettiva è diversa. In questa fascia di prezzo ci sono telefoni con fotocamere decisamente superiori, con qualche funzione in più e soprattutto con Android 15 già installato al lancio. Se vi serve solo un telefono, forse è meglio andare sul formato classico e pensare alla concretezza. Ma se invece sognate un foldable, il Flip 2 5G resta un buon telefono a un prezzo a cui nessun altro riesce a piegarsi.

Nubia Flip 2 non è un brutto smartphone, né uno smartphone fantastico, ma è una porta di ingresso eventuale per chi voglia provare uno smartphone pieghevole di questo tipo. Per essere però un prodotto allettante, che attiri a prescindere dal prezzo, Nubia deve assolutamente mettersi alla pari degli altri con il supporto software, migliorare un pochino il comparto fotografico e provare a spiccare con qualche specifica tecnica, offrendo magari la prima batteria ad ampia capacità con il silicio carbonio, o magari con un formato full display. Ok il listino praticamente dimezzato rispetto alla concorrenza ma rispetto ad essa Nubia esce in ritardo sul mercato flip e quindi si scontra con degli street price non troppo distanti. Attendiamo quindi un futuro calo di prezzo, o un abbonamento con qualche operatore come quello TIM che abbatte il prezzo già a 560€.

Nubia Flip 2 5G Per combattere la noia dei soliti smartphone, il settore dei pieghevoli sta prendendo sempre più piede e anche Nubia continua a esplorare e a innovare in questo particolare formato. Il Nubia Flip 2 5G, evoluzione del primo Flip 5G dell'azienda, offre oggi parecchi miglioramenti hardware, ma deve evolversi anche sul fronte software, che di base "monta" ancora Android 14. Il device si fa notare per un display esterno OLED con aspect ratio 16:10, perfetto per visualizzare video e app senza compromessi, il cui unico "difetto" è una dimensione da 3 pollici forse troppo sacrificata per un uso più trasversale. Una volta aperto, però, il telefono mostra un pannello AMOLED+ da ben 6,9 pollici di buona qualità. Pur non avendo una scheda tecnica da top di gamma assoluto in termini di prestazioni e fotocamere, questo Flip 2 5G vince sul fronte del design e potrebbe diventare parecchio interessante con l'affacciarsi delle prime offerte.

If you want an overall great deal in the flip phone segment, then it’s worth waiting for this phone’s international release. La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata. Tuttavia, queste schede forniscono ancora abbastanza potenza per le applicazioni da ufficio e la proiezioni di video (ma non per i video HD).

Qualcomm Adreno 644: Chip grafico per smartphone e tablet integrato nel SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. Qualcomm sostiene che è più veloce del 20% rispetto alla generazione precedente.
