Siamo quindi giunti al momento delle conclusioni e soprattutto al punto di scoprire il prezzo. Quanto costa questo Legion 7? Il listino per la versione da noi provata parla di ben 2819 euro, mentre la versione base con Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3060, 16 GB di RAM e SSD da 512 GB costa poco meno di 2.000 euro. Si tratta di cifre indubbiamente importanti e probabilmente, nonostante le ottime prestazioni che questo Legion è in grado di offrire, sono poche le persone disposte a spendere questi soldi per un notebook. Dopo aver provato questo e altre soluzioni con costi comunque paragonabili posso però dirvi che, secondo me, per quanto comunque si tratti di tanti soldi, il prezzo non è fuori mercato. Costruzione, display, prestazioni, sono tutti elementi che mi portano a considerare questo Legion 7 come uno dei migliori all'interno della sua categoria e quindi non possiamo che accettare il posizionamento altrettanto elevato.

Lenovo Legion 7 conferma quanto di buono visto nel Legion 5 Pro, aumentando ulteriormente l'asticella delle prestazioni. Questi due portatili non sono in diretta concorrenza, anzi, vanno a formare una lineup davvero convincente. Legion 5 Pro offre già di suo ottime prestazioni a un prezzo di circa 1999€, e rimane un'alternativa ottima per chi cerca maggiore equilibrio tra potenza e costi. Chi invece non bada a spese può puntare a questo Legion 7, con una CPU e una GPU più potente a un prezzo di circa 2900€. A spiccare, oltre alle performance, troviamo un ottimo display e una quantità di memoria elevata, che lo rendono perfetto anche per gestire compiti pesanti come il rendering e l'editing video. Di contro abbiamo davvero poco, citiamo l'autonomia ma si tratta del punto debole di tutti i notebook da gaming, che funzionano al meglio solo quando connessi alla corrente. Per il resto, il Legion 7 non deluderà nemmeno i palati più fini.

Difficile chiedere di più ad un portatile gaming: Lenovo Legion 7 è un vestito cucito su misura ad un hardware tra i più potenti del momento. Gli calza a pennello, ma lo lascia anche "traspirare", in modo che possa darvi sempre il massimo delle sue capacità. Non sarà il notebook più coveniente del mercato, ma è quello del quale, una volta saggiatene le performance, non vorrete fare a meno.

The Lenovo Legion 7 went above and beyond our expectations. The CPU, RAM and GPU configuration in this notebook leaves very little on the table as regards performance and it’s more than capable of handling the latest AAA game developers have to offer. We would’ve liked cooling to be more effective especially during these summer months and we hope that Lenovo addresses its cooling in future Legion notebooks. With that having been said, the performance and build quality are superb and we can easily recommend this notebook for anybody looking for a portable high-end gaming machine. The Lenovo Legion 7 retails for R49 999 (RRP) which is rather expensive, but considering that many gaming notebooks at this price point only sport an NVIDIA RTX 3070, this is a tempting offer.

Lenovo's flagship 16-inch gaming laptop comes in both Intel and AMD flavors. The Intel version tested in October 2021—the Legion 7i Gen 6—is a real barn-burner, producing some of the best gaming benchmarks we've seen from any notebook. The AMD-powered Legion 7 Gen 6 (minus the i) reviewed here isn't quite as fast and misses out on Nvidia G-Sync and Thunderbolt 4 without colossal cost savings—it starts at the same $1,439, though at $2,649 our test configuration is some $600 under the 7i we tested. But it's still an exceptional performer, and more than doubles the Intel laptop's battery life to ultimately be the more practical of the two. The Legion 7 Gen 6 claims our Editors' Choice award among deluxe 16-inch gaming laptops. The Intel version of Lenovo's deluxe 16-inch gaming laptop is richer in features, but this AMD Ryzen-based Legion is an excellent performer that gets much better battery life.

The Lenovo Legion 7 is mighty to play on by all means. For ₹2.4 lakh, you are getting some serious power here, which is great if you want a machine to play the latest AAA titles at the highest of settings without compromising on resolution and frame rates. Paired with the practical ergonomics and a good keyboard, the Legion 7 also works as a great desktop replacement for power users. And that RGB lightshow does liven up the mood. That said, the Legion 7 could have done with better speakers. And since you are paying a fortune, there’s no shame in asking for a fancy design that stands out from another cheaper Lenovo Legion variant costing less than ₹70,000. A similarly priced Alienware or HP Omen machine looks ungodly in comparison, the Legion 7 pales out. On the whole, the Lenovo Legion 7 is offering a lot of specs and a superb performance for the price it sells. If you are looking for a super powerful portable desktop replacement, or just a beastly gaming laptop, we recommend checking out the Legion 7.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU: Scheda grafica per laptop di fascia alta basata sul chip Ampere GA104. Al momento del lancio, all'inizio del 2021, la 3080 è la scheda grafica per laptop più veloce sul mercato.

Queste schede grafiche sono paragonabili alle entusiasmanti schede grafiche desktop, come la 9800M GT. Le schede hanno un core simile alle relative schede desktop, ma hanno un clock inferiore e spesso hanno processori con meno ombre. I giochi moderni come Age of Conan, Race Driver Grid, Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, o Gothic 3 dovrebbero scorrere in modo fluido con dettagli elevati (Crysis dovrebbe funzionare con dettagli medio alti).
