Honor X8b viene proposto sul sito ufficiale e presso la grande distribuzione a 269,90 €. Alcuni store regalano in bundle le Earbuds X5, del valore di 59,90 €. A mio avviso non basta per consigliare un prodotto che dovrà assestarsi sui 150 € per risultare appetibile, in primis per l’assenza del 5G e per la scelta di un SoC datato (seppur gestito bene da Magic OS).

Giudizio finale positivo, il prezzo di listino di Honor X8b 8/256GB è pari a 269 euro, quello corretto secondo me è di 199 euro e al netto del software che, come dicevamo prima necessita di un bell'aggiornamento "rinfrescante", e delle prestazioni non al top l'ho trovato un ottimo smartphone, con un bel display e grande autonomia.

In conclusione confermo che questo Honor X8b è sicuramente uno smartphone che lascia "i più esperti" con l'amaro in bocca, poiché uno Snapdragon 680 ai giorni d'oggi risulta essere più che una scelta discutibile, ma allo stesso tempo è indubbio di come sia uno smartphone geniale lato marketing e venderà tantissimo tra il pubblico "newbie" come quello da negozio fisico. Il display è eccezionale con all'interno la dynamic island ben fatta e come abbiamo visto nella presentazione cinese di Magic 6 Pro verrà sempre più supportata. Le foto non sono ottime per un prezzo di circa 269€(sconto sopra 256€), ma tutto sommato lo storage da 8/256GB lascia soddisfatti e mai a corto di memoria chi compra questo device. La colorazione verde è decisamente attraente e tutto sommato è un prodotto che funziona. Male il rilascio con Android 13 e in dubbio la fluidità in futuro affidata ad un SOC che "nasce" vecchio. Now to conclude this review, to be fair, the HONOR x8b is a decent contender on the mid-range segment of smartphones, given a consumer really knows what they want and need. If you are one of those people who are seeking a smartphone that can provide good performance– even though its a bit dated kind of chipset, average battery life, and a good display within a midrange budget, this can be a good choice. But if you are looking for a smartphone with a great set of cameras, skip the HONOR x8b or you might get a little underwhelmed. For pricing, the Honor X8b is priced at PHP 12,999 and if you sign up for pre-order, you will get a free HONOR Choice X5 earbuds worth PHP 1,590. Hurry because this pre-order promo is only until February 23, 2024.

Its chipset could have also been better. The Honor X8b’s chipset has more than decent performance for sure, but there are other smartphones in the market that have better chipsets in the same price range. If you want a good-looking smartphone where you can watch a lot of movies or TV series or do some social media activities, then this smartphone is for you. That’s because it has a great display and a fantastic battery backup, which will surely help in those cases. But if you are a gamer, then you need 5G connectivity for lower latency and need better chipset. In this case, other smartphones could be better in this regard.

HONOR X8b review - Great looking phone with decent performance

Overall, the HONOR X8b is a pretty decent phone for RM1000. The sleek plain leather back cover design is indeed one of the highlights and is usually only available on flagships. While granted its tech specs are just mid-range, that's what you're supposed to get in this price range. At least the display features are pretty good for video streaming, and the camera does a decent job. It's also enough to do your normal social media stuff. The HONOR X8b is in the same price range as the OPPO A79 (RM1199) and realme 10 (RM899). While the former has a 5000mAh battery with a faster 67W fast charging, the latter is equipped with a Helio G99 chipset and the same 90Hz Super AMOLED display. Each phone has its unique operating system, so we guess it's up to you which one you prefer.
