Il sensore di impronte digitali precisissimo, la batteria longeva e la buona fotocamera sono il biglietto da visita per Honor 6X, che non vuole solo essere economico ma anche convincente. Peccato per l’assenza della banda 5GHz Wi-Fi e per un ritardo nell’adozione di una porta USB Type-C, ma del resto qualche mancanza è perdonabile ad un dispositivo che fa tanto con poco.

Più di qualche dubbio al contrario dovrebbe sorgere se si ha la necessità di un device dalle alte prestazioni, magari da utilizzare per il gaming. In sostanza, dunque, è adatto ad un’ampia fetta di pubblico con il prossimo aggiornamento Nougat diventerà di certo una delle migliori scelte possibili al di sotto dei 250 euro.

Mi piace, mi piace veramente tanto. Se a questo aggiungiamo anche un prezzo irrisorio per quello che offre, questo Honor 6X è da comprare al volo senza aspettare ancora un secondo. Quando mi chiedono che smartphone consiglio ormai dico questo, non penso nemmeno più ad uno Xiaomi o ad un Meizu per via dei problemi con il software. Con questo vado sul tranquillo grazie al supporto italiano ed alla possibilità di acquistarlo direttamente anche in alcuni centri commerciali fisici. Nulla da dire, è uno smartphone veramente eccezionale.

Honor 6X si rivela un ottimo smartphone di fascia media, con un hardware equilibrato ed un prezzo decisamente interessante, pari a 249 euro. La presenza del Bridge Wi-Fi rientra senza alcuna ombra di dubbio tra le novità più apprezzabili, poiché in grado di estendere la portata del segnale Wi-Fi ed offrire una valida soluzione ad eventuali limitazioni imposte dai fornitori di servizi in ambienti pubblici. D’altro canto, il mancato supporto alle reti 5 GHz fa decisamente storcere il naso, considerata la progressiva e sostenuta diffusione di questa tecnologia negli ultimi anni, persino in ambienti domestici. Tuttavia, le ottime prestazioni e l’elevata autonomia di Honor 6X lo rendono un best buy in questa fascia di prezzo, popolata per la maggior parte da dispositivi dotati di un hardware inferiore rispetto al nuovo smartphone di Honor.

Nessuno riuscirà a convincermi del contrario: mentre prima i produttori tentavano di fare all-in con i loro flagship senza “limiti” di prezzo, adesso la loro sfida si è spostata su chi riesce ad offrire di più al prezzo maggiormente competitivo. Honor 6X ne è la riprova: un telefono bilanciato, completo e ben funzionante, offerto ad una cifra dove un tempo si trovavano solo prodotti scadenti. Ultimamente, i medio gamma mi danno molta più soddisfazione dei prodotti ben più costosi, anche soltanto perché ce ne compri tre con il prezzo di un solo top gamma.

Honor 6X andato letteralmente a ruba in queste prime battute dell'anno, la casa cinese ha anticipato i tempi rispetto allo scorso anno e aperto così la strada ad altre novità che ha in serbo per il 2017. Questa evoluzione della fortunata serie mantiene quasi tutte le promesse: migliora l'autonomia, riduce gli ingombri, migliora la fotocamera, le prestazioni e il design. Tutti buoni motivi che già da soli motivano l'acquisto, soprattutto se consideriamo che la versione base con 3GB di RAM e 32GB di memoria interna viene offerta a circa 249€, in Italia non vedo ancora la variante top con 4/64GB che ho usato per questa recensione (costo di 299€).

However, the version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage costs Rs. 15,999 which feels like less of a bargain. We wish Honor had paid attention to finer details like Wi-Fi 802.11ac support, a USB Type-C connector, true dual-SIM functionality like the 5X, and perhaps a simpler look and feel to EMUI. It definitely takes nice pictures in sufficient light and takes some above average and average shots in low light conditions in terms of details. The camera seems snappy enough but takes a lot of time to process images. Although the company is betting heavily on the hardware when it comes to the camera, but we think it is the software which binds it all together. The software as a whole needs some finishing around the corner as we think the lagging in the Gallery app and the processing time should be reduced if not eliminated. That said, we think the Honor 6X definitely has an edge over other smartphones in this price segment in the camera department. We do not know the final price of the device but if it is in the vicinity of Rs 15,000 as is being rumored, then it definitely is the best camera in that section. Hands down. Its hardware stings like a bee, even though its software sometimes does not quite float like a butterfly…

Soltanto i giochi datasi possono essere giocati in modo fluido con questi chips grafici (se non richiedono troppe prestazioni). I cores con memoria grafica condivisa in questa categoria hanno il vantaggio delle minori emissioni di calore e della maggiore autonomia della batteria.
