The Acer Aspire 5, for example, is still one of the best laptops you can get for $500, with better performance per dollar and an even better port selection. (Its keyboard is a bit worse, enough so that I'd personally spend the extra money on HP's offering if you do a lot of typing.) You could also go for a Chromebook like the HP Chromebook X360, which has longer battery life and a touch screen for less money, or the ThinkPad Chromebook C13, which is an extremely high-end laptop for the same price as the Pavilion, without the performance bloat that often comes with Windows. Of course, if you can stand to spend a bit more, the MacBook Air is still the best laptop you can buy right now, and it's still rather affordable at under $1,000.

EN→ITThe HP Pavilion 15 (15-eh3000) is an unpretentious device that offers good performance for casual everyday tasks or normal office usage like editing documents or video calls. The refreshed Zen 3 CPUs are still powerful enough for such work and if your laptop has dual-channel memory, you can play some light games such as CS:GO or Dota 2 after work. The processor can sustain decent clocks under any kind of load and the temperatures are on the low side thanks to the cooling with two heat pipes and one fan. The upgradability is decent – you get two SODDIMs for DDR4 memory which is a rare find in this price category. It’s a bit disappointing that the maximum amount of RAM is just 16GB of memory. The single M.2 slot is compatible with Gen 4 SSDs but their speed will be limited to the Gen 3 standard.

R5 4500U: APU mobile Hexy-Core che utilizza sei core Zen 2 con clock da 2,3 a 4 GHz e una scheda grafica Vega con 6 CU con clock fino a 1500 MHz. La CPU non supporta SMT / Hyperthreading.
R7 4700U: APU mobile Octa-Core che utilizza core Zen 2 con clock da 2 a 4 GHz e una scheda grafica Vega con 7 CU con clock fino a 1600 MHz. Rispetto al più veloce 4800U, il 4700U offre una velocità di clock di boost leggermente inferiore e non supporta SMT / Hyperthreading.
AMD Lucienne (Zen 2, Ryzen 5000):
R5 5500U:
APU mobile a sei core che utilizza core Zen 2 con clock da 2,1 a 4 GHz e una scheda grafica Vega con 7 CU con clock fino a 1800 MHz. Simile al vecchio Ryzen 5 4500U.
R7 5700U:
APU Octa-Core mobile che utilizza core Zen 2 con clock da 1,8 a 4,3 GHz e una scheda grafica Vega con 8 CU con clock fino a 1900 MHz.
AMD Cezanne (Zen 3, Ryzen 5000):
R7 7730U: Un'APU octa-core basata su Zen 3 per i computer portatili che funziona da 2 GHz a 4,5 GHz e presenta l'iGPU Vega 8 (8 CU con clock fino a 2.000 MHz). Aggiornamento del 2022 Ryzen 7 5825U con le stesse specifiche.
R5 7530U: APU mobile a sei core con core Zen 3 con clock da 2 a 4,5 GHz e adattatore grafico Vega con 7 CU con clock fino a 2 GHz.
