L'XPS 15 di Dell riceve molta attenzione che anche gli altri costruttori vorrebbero. Ovviamente HP vorrebbe anche competere con il laptom premium di Dell. Quindi HP ha creato un dispositivo che vuole stupire il mercato con un case unibody, funzionalità business e componenti avanzate. With a 15.6-inch screen and a discrete Nvidia GPU option, it's well suited to running graphically demanding applications. The build quality is solid, so if this laptop does have to travel, it should be well protected. Battery life is impressive, too, and the EliteBook 1050 G1 even has a decent audio subsystem, which is something of a rarity for a laptop.

Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.
