As a standalone tablet, the Pixel C is superb. It’s better than the HTC-made Nexus 9 which was great but not exceptional. Which the 'C' most certainly is. Storage is a bit limited, but if you can live with 32GB it’s good value at £399. Paying an extra £119 for the keyboard is something we can’t see many buyers doing. If typing is a priority, you’d be better off spending your £518 on a decent ultraportable laptop as Android Marshmallow – good as it is – isn’t nearly as versatile as Windows. And while the keyboard is well designed, you’ll still prefer a full-size laptop keyboard. If you need to run Windows apps, the consider the Surface 3 which is slightly cheaper - even with the optional keyboard - but remember that there are even cheaper options such as the Asus Transformer T100HA.

Se dicessi che sono rimasto completamente estasiato del Google Pixel, vi prenderei in giro. Di fronte a tante qualità, come le ottime prestazioni, l'autonomia oltre le mie più rosee aspettative e l'esperienza d'uso curata, non posso fare a meno di notare dei difetti. La scocca è realizzata con cura, lo si vede e lo si sente al tatto, ma è anche delicatissima. Lo schermo AMOLED fa il suo dovere, ma i colori potevano essere calibrati un po' meglio. La fotocamera dà risultati positivi su tutti i fronti, tranne che sull'autofocus.

In conclusione un Pixel che non mi ha impressionato più di tanto a prima vista, lo avrebbero potuto fare di certo più bello, ma è anche vero che all'apparenza contrappone tanta sostanza. The Pixel is in many ways a welcome successor to the Nexus line, improving some of the shortcomings of those previous phones - though it is not perfect. The camera was often a sticking point with Nexus phones over the years (though the 6/6p had excellent sensors), and in this department the Pixel has been crowned the king of smartphone cameras since its release. The SoC, rather than being outdated at launch was the (then) top-of-the-line Snapdragon 821, which was this year replaced by the Snapdragon 835 found in the new Samsung Galaxy S8 handset (review upcoming!). The build quality is also quite high with the Pixel, about on par with the Nexus 6p from Huawei (or perhaps even higher, if you like iPhone-clone industrial design). It offers great performance, that glorious stock Android experience, great battery life, and feels like the premium device that the price tag indicates. But those are the positives.

Just the speed gains themselves over the N6P would have been worth it for initial release, though eventually it would be nice to regain at least the features the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 (time lapse) cameras had when they came out. Also, we are still waiting for some hinted-at pretty great features; hopefully they’ve not been canceled, but that was a long time ago.

Parlare male di Pixel Xl è impossibile. Lo smartphone è eccellente da tutti i punti di vista, ben costruito e con un hardware sicuramente soddisfacente. Il vero problema è trovare il valore aggiunto di questo prodotto rispetto alla concorrenza. Ad un prezzo di 899€ per il base, senza memoria espandibile, senza certificazioni IP67 e consapevoli che comunque avremo "solo" 2 anni di supporto per le nuove distribuzioni, ogni piccolezza e ogni bug diventa pesante. Nougat da solo non è un valore aggiunto cosi importante per quanto sia un sistema che migliora molti aspetti di Android Stock, visto che molte delle funzioni introdotte sono presenti da tempo su device di altri brand (sempre Android).

85% Recensione Google Pixel XL: nuovo nome, ancora "beta”

Parlare male di Pixel Xl è impossibile. Lo smartphone è eccellente da tutti i punti di vista, ben costruito e con un hardware sicuramente soddisfacente. Il vero problema è trovare il valore aggiunto di questo prodotto rispetto alla concorrenza. Ad un prezzo di 899€ per il base, senza memoria espandibile, senza certificazioni IP67 e consapevoli che comunque avremo "solo" 2 anni di supporto per le nuove distribuzioni, ogni piccolezza e ogni bug diventa pesante. Nougat da solo non è un valore aggiunto cosi importante per quanto sia un sistema che migliora molti aspetti di Android Stock, visto che molte delle funzioni introdotte sono presenti da tempo su device di altri brand (sempre Android).

Esteticamente non mi fa impazzire, il retro ha quel pezzo di vetro (tra l'altro non perfettamente a filo) che sembra essere messo li a caso, come a dire "voglio caratterizzarmi ma non so come farlo"...e tac la pezza. Ma il software mi è piaciuto tantissimo. Oltre ad essere veloce presenta finalmente un ottimo compromesso tra drawer SI drawer NO. Belle le nuove funzioni, potenzialmente bello (e rivoluzionario) l'assistente vocale e Allo. E' un po' meno Nexus, un po' meno Nerd, un po' meno "ignorante" (virgolettato non a caso...a voler dire duro e puro) per diventare più raffinato. Purtroppo per noi ha un prezzo elevatissimo. 899 euro il 32 Gb e addirittura 1009 euro il 128 (almeno in Germania...da noi non è ancora ufficiale). Non sono giustificati da un software che troveremo anche su altri telefoni (quindi non esclusivo). Ma questo Android 7.1 mi è piaciuto davvero tantissimo. Il Pixel? Si. Ma anche un po' no...

But it is also missing features like a waterproof body and powerful speakers. And that, combined with the high prices of Rs 57,000 for Pixel and Rs 67,000 for Pixel XL, means the iPhone 7 is a slightly better deal for most consumers, especially when you take into account Apple's proven record in supporting its phones for three to four years with software support. But this lead that Apple has is marginal. The Pixel XL too is right up there. In fact, it is the best phone for you if you are already familiar with Android. It's just pure, unadulterated Android at its best with a killer camera.

All that aside, the Pixel is a hugely competent phone with an excellent camera, the best implementation of Android we have ever seen, an attractive albeit occasionally strange design, strong build quality and the inherent desirability that comes from knowing it is Google through-and-through.

Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata.
