The 2022 Gigabyte Aero 16 targets creators as much as gamers, and it adds features we all like, including a 16:10 aspect ratio 4K+ OLED display, 99.9 WHr battery and a slim and light CNC aluminum casing. The 16” laptop is available with 14-core Intel 12th gen H series 45 watt Core i7 and i9 CPUs, and your choice of NVIDIA RTX 3060, 3070 Ti or 3080 Ti GPUs. It has a Windows Hello IR camera, Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 6E, a white backlit keyboard and comes with a USB-C mini dock to add more ports. This Windows 11 notebook PC competes with the Razer Blade 15, MSI Stealth GS66, Alienware m15 R7 and the 16” M1 MacBook Pro.

EN→ITThe Aero 16 is an effective combination of a color-accurate OLED screen, impressive CPU power, and portability. That combination doesn’t come cheap, though, and the price combined with the battery life may make it a difficult purchase to justify for many people. Those who like what the Aero offers but are hoping to spend less might consider Razer’s Blade 17, which is available with this same GPU and a 4K screen for $100 cheaper, or a QHD screen for several hundred dollars cheaper. Those who like the Aero’s look but want better gaming chops may want to look at Gigabyte’s various Aorus laptops, which are gaming-focused and can get you a 3080 for much cheaper. The primary argument for the Aero is that its CPU can deliver MacBook-competitive performance in creative applications while being much stronger than those MacBooks on the gaming front. Of course, an M1 Pro MacBook has various other advantages over the Aero: namely, it can last over six times as long on battery. But if you want a laptop to create, occasionally game, and stay at your desk, the Aero has a legitimate case.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU:
Scheda grafica di fascia alta per laptop basata sul chip Ampere GA103S. Al momento del lancio all'inizio del 2022, la 3080 Ti è la scheda grafica per laptop più veloce sul mercato.
Queste schede grafiche sono paragonabili alle entusiasmanti schede grafiche desktop, come la 9800M GT. Le schede hanno un core simile alle relative schede desktop, ma hanno un clock inferiore e spesso hanno processori con meno ombre. I giochi moderni come Age of Conan, Race Driver Grid, Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, o Gothic 3 dovrebbero scorrere in modo fluido con dettagli elevati (Crysis dovrebbe funzionare con dettagli medio alti).
