The Fujitsu LifeBook S760 is designed for business users who need a laptop that combines portability with fast performance. Priced at around £850, this 13.3-inch ultra-portable comes installed with the 64-bit version of Windows 7 Professional, rather than the Home Premium edition you'll find on the majority of consumer laptops. It's not the sexiest ultra-portable laptop around, but the 13.3-inch Fujitsu LifeBook S760 impresses with its combination of power and portability.

Save for its short battery life (a big drawback indeed), the Fujitsu LifeBook S760 is a versatile notebook you can take anywhere, thanks to its small, durable design and surprisingly powerful graphics performance. Unfortunately, road warriors can find twice the endurance and a slicker design elsewhere for less money. If you can live without the Nvidia GPU muscle, get the reasonably priced Express Buy $1,319 version of the S760, whose power-efficent Intel HD Graphics will give you more juice.

Fujitsu’s LifeBook S760 is a very nice looking, well-built laptop with some high-end specifications and good features for the regular traveller. Its spill resistant keyboard is a pleasure to use, and the quirky ScrollWheel is a ‘take it or leave it’ feature which you can simply ignore if it does not feel right to you. It may, though prove a useful ice-breaker in some client meetings. And you might not want to use the Web camera software in view of clients, unless you have preconfigured it to remove some of the more consumer-focussed elements.

Keeping all the factors in mind, especially the modest feature set, at Rs.1,02,500, we’d say this laptop is overpriced. There are better options available out there. So unless you really like the look of it, which is different from other laptops, there’s little reason for you to rave over this laptop.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) HD Graphics:

Soltanto i giochi datasi possono essere giocati in modo fluido con questi chips grafici (se non richiedono troppe prestazioni). I cores con memoria grafica condivisa in questa categoria hanno il vantaggio delle minori emissioni di calore e della maggiore autonomia della batteria. Per ufficio, internet, image processing, e video editing queste schede grafiche sono utilizzabili senza particolari problematiche.

620M: Il Core i7-620M e la CPU Dual-Core più veloce per portatili (al momento del lancio nel 2010). La 620M ha un clock tra i 2.66 ed i 3.33 GHz grazie al Turbo Mode ed all'Hyperthreading, possono essere eseguiti 4 simultaneamente. Nella confezione, Intel include anche una GPU integrata (GMA HD) ed un controller di memoria. Di conseguenza, il TDP di 35 Watt dell'intero pacchetto risulta comunque buono.
