Battery life is also decent, especially for a meaty desktop replacement laptop. With the included 6-cell battery, expect to get about 4 hours of battery life and with an optional 9-cell battery, Dell says you can get 7.5 hours of life. We did notice that when running on battery power, the laptop does get very hot and the fans turn up to a very loud speed, so make sure to keep it well-ventilated at all times to prevent overheating.

NVIDIA GeForce GT 445M: Scheda basata sul GF106 con appena 144 Shaders, e diversa banda di memoria da 128 e 192 Bit in base alla RAM grafica utilizzata.
Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

840QM: Il Core i7-840QM è una CPU quad core di fascia alta per portatili che ha clocks grazie al Turbo Mode da 1.86-3.2 GHz.
