EN→ITThis is one of those laptops that often flies under the radar. It features a simple design, but it's built to be efficient. Not only is the size compact, but you also get tons of power thanks to Qualcomm's Snapdragon X chip. The chip is paired with 16GB of RAM and also comes with 512GB of SSD storage. When it comes to everyday use, the laptop is going to be able to handle all the basics with ease. Plus, you'll also get excellent battery life as well. The connectivity is also pretty good, with two USB-C, one USB-A, microSD, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It's not the most ports we've seen, but for most people, this should be just fine. Again, this laptop is great for someone that's looking to do all the basics.

EN→ITWe’ve yet to be impressed by a Snapdragon laptop in the graphics processing department, but this new model from Dell shows where the platform can shine: it provides decent CPU results, and a screen that’s nice enough but struggles with a restricted colour gamut, but with battery life that will go all day and more. It’s well built, runs smoothly, and the low price tag means it’s going to be attractive to a lot of people.

EN→ITThe Dell Inspiron 14 (5441) with Snapdragon X Plus processor is one of the more budget offerings in this line. The version I tested is just $650 at the time of this writing. You can move up to the 10-core version of this laptop for $800. That increases your hard drive to 1TB, but for the money, I'd stick with the 8-core version. And I do believe this workhorse machine is with the price tag. It kept up with my multi-tasking, AI-using, and picture editing without missing a beat. I was also able to seamlessly stream videos and music and wasn't disappointed in the quality of either. So, yeah, this one is a buy for anyone looking for a basic laptop to get things done.

EN→ITYou can do a lot worse than the Dell Inspiron 14. It’s a classy, if bland, looking machine that’s got plenty to offer in terms of connectivity and easy utility. But it’s just not quite all it could have been. Dell shifted over to a low-tier Snapdragon X Plus chip for this model, and the performance left plenty to be desired. As long as emulation is required, you’ll end up better off with even some of Intel’s less-loved CPUs, and graphics lags behind thoroughly. Factor in a very disappointing display and the fact that even the low-power processor couldn’t set the Dell Inspiron 14 apart from the competition in battery life, and you’ve got a laptop that has no easy time justifying itself over others.

La sua linea di prodotti comprende desktop, notebook, sistemi di archiviazione, monitor, server, stampanti, elettronica di consumo e periferiche. Dell offre laptop adatti a varie applicazioni, come laptop aziendali, laptop da gioco, ultra portatili e workstation. I laptop aziendali Dell delle serie Latitude e Precision sono un'opzione per utenti professionali e aziende.
Nel 2023, Dell deteneva una quota di mercato di circa il 17% delle vendite globali di PC, classificandosi al terzo posto dopo Lenovo e HP.

Intel Iris Xe G7 80EUs:
Scheda grafica integrata nei SoC Intel Tiger Lake G7 basati sulla nuova architettura Gen. 12 con 80 EU (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). La frequenza di clock dipende dal modello di processore. I chip Tiger Lake sono prodotti nel moderno processo 10nm+ di Intel.
Qualcomm Adreno X1-45 1.7 TFLOPS: Un adattatore grafico integrato che il SoC Snapdragon X Plus 8-core X1P-42-100 presenta. Rispetto alle più veloci iGPU X1-85 da 3,8 TFLOPS e 4,6 TFLOPS, questa non solo funziona a velocità di clock inferiori, ma dispone anche di un numero inferiore di shader unificati, con 768 come numero più probabile. L'architettura di base, a quanto pare, non è molto diversa da quella utilizzata nell'Adreno 730. Per quanto riguarda le prestazioni di gioco, è appena sufficiente per i giochi pre-2020 a risoluzioni come HD 720p con impostazioni grafiche basse.

Processore quad-core a bassa potenza basato su Tiger Lake per computer portatili sottili e leggeri. I quattro cores si aggirano intorno ai 2,8 - 4,7 GHz. Prodotto in 10nm+ alla Intel.
Intel Alder Lake-M:
i5-1235U:
Un processore mobile basato su Alder-Lake con 2 core ad alte prestazioni e 8 core efficienti. I core ad alte prestazioni offrono l'hyper-threading, che consente l'elaborazione di 12 thread. La CPU funziona a frequenze comprese tra 0,9 e 4,4 GHz. Il TDP è di 15 Watt.
Intel Raptor Lake-U:
i5-1335U: CPU mobile basata su Alder Lake con 2 core ad alte prestazioni e 8 core efficienti. I core ad alte prestazioni offrono l'hyper threading, che porta a 12 thread che possono essere elaborati. Il clock della CPU va da 0,9 a 4,6 GHz. Il TDP è specificato a 15 Watt.
Core 7 150U: Processore mobile di fascia alta basato sull'architettura Alder Lake. Offre 2 core di prestazioni e 8 core di efficienza e può elaborare 12 thread contemporaneamente. Il turbo clock massimo dei core P è di 5,4 GHz. L'i5-1365U supporta anche le funzioni di gestione vPro Essentials.
Qualcomm Snapdragon X:
SD X Plus X1P-42-100: Un system-on-a-chip con architettura ARM relativamente conveniente da utilizzare nei computer portatili Windows, il cui debutto è previsto per il 20 maggio 2024. Si dice che X1P-42-100 abbia 8 core di CPU Oryon (8 core P, 0 core E) che funzionano a una velocità di clock non ancora nota di almeno 3 GHz. Una GPU Adreno da 3,8 TFLOPS, una NPU Hexagon da 45 TOPS, un controller di memoria LPDDR5x-8448 incredibilmente veloce, il supporto USB 4.0, il supporto TB 4 e il supporto PCIe 4 sono molto probabilmente tutti presenti a bordo. Questo chip X Plus non utilizza lo stesso die su cui si basano i modelli X1P-64-100, X1E-78-100, X1E-80-100, X1E-84-100.
