Usare Zenbook A14 per diversi giorni, in mobilità reale, ha confermato le intenzioni del progetto. È un portatile progettato per offrire continuità, silenzio e durata, senza distrazioni. Chi vive connesso, lavora in cloud, scrive documenti, gestisce riunioni e naviga tra tool web, troverà in questa macchina uno strumento stabile e affidabile. È veloce nell’avvio, resta reattivo anche dopo ore di lavoro, non scalda mai, non fa rumore. Si dimentica addosso, come dev’essere un buon ultrabook.Allo stesso tempo, chi lavora con software specializzati, ha bisogno di applicazioni desktop classiche in ambito tecnico o creativo, o richiede compatibilità estesa con tool legacy, deve sapere che l’architettura ARM pone dei limiti ancora oggi non del tutto superati.Non è un portatile per tutti, ma per molti.

EN→ITOverall, the ASUS Zenbook A14 is a very sleek and minimal looking laptop, especially in this Zabriskie Beige color. The weight is also insanely light (thanks to the company’s Ceraluminum material) that you almost feel you’re holding nothing, it’s so light. The branding on the top lid is clean and simple, it’s just a very nice design and ultraportable thanks to the weight. The keyboard and trackpad are great, and the (non-touch) OLED display looks really nice. This is really an excellent package for most basic users who want an ultraportable and beautiful-looking laptop. The price is a bit higher or about the same as some of the competition with better performance, though. So shop around if you’re in the need of capabilities that ARM processors do not offer.

EN→ITThe Zenbook A14 kind of grew on me the more I used it. At first, it just felt kind of weird, with a surface that wasn’t quick like plastic but wasn’t quite like metal, either. But the more I handled it, the more I liked it. All the work Asus put into its Ceraluminum material wasn’t wasted. I wish the hinge was tighter, but that wasn’t at all a dealbreaker for me. And I love that even though it’s very light, it still got class-leading battery life with solid productivity performance. It’s right up there with the MacBook Air 13 (M4), which is saying something. If you’re looking for a 14-inch laptop that you don’t need for gaming or video editing, then you really need to give the Zenbook A14 some serious consideration.

Qualcomm Adreno X1-45 1.7 TFLOPS: Un adattatore grafico integrato che il SoC Snapdragon X Plus 8-core X1P-42-100 presenta. Rispetto alle più veloci iGPU X1-85 da 3,8 TFLOPS e 4,6 TFLOPS, questa non solo funziona a velocità di clock inferiori, ma dispone anche di un numero inferiore di shader unificati, con 768 come numero più probabile. L'architettura di base, a quanto pare, non è molto diversa da quella utilizzata nell'Adreno 730. Per quanto riguarda le prestazioni di gioco, è appena sufficiente per i giochi pre-2020 a risoluzioni come HD 720p con impostazioni grafiche basse.
Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

SD X Plus X1P-42-100: Un system-on-a-chip con architettura ARM relativamente conveniente da utilizzare nei computer portatili Windows, il cui debutto è previsto per il 20 maggio 2024. Si dice che X1P-42-100 abbia 8 core di CPU Oryon (8 core P, 0 core E) che funzionano a una velocità di clock non ancora nota di almeno 3 GHz. Una GPU Adreno da 3,8 TFLOPS, una NPU Hexagon da 45 TOPS, un controller di memoria LPDDR5x-8448 incredibilmente veloce, il supporto USB 4.0, il supporto TB 4 e il supporto PCIe 4 sono molto probabilmente tutti presenti a bordo. Questo chip X Plus non utilizza lo stesso die su cui si basano i modelli X1P-64-100, X1E-78-100, X1E-80-100, X1E-84-100.
