ASUS has definitely produced a very good device in the face of VivoBook S15 S530. First of all – it is very well built and looks stylish and super low profile. Its light weight compares even with some smaller devices. We loved how the base is lifted up when you open the lid. It definitely provides some comfort when typing. However, the GeForce MX150 liked it even more than us, since it has more room for breathing this way.

Considerando la dotazione hardware siamo comunque di fronte ad una cifra allineata alla concorrenza e ad un prodotto che nei prossimi mesi potrà sicuramente dire la sua in questa fascia di mercato. Tuttavia, visto quanto emerso dall'analisi del display e data la presenza online di configurazioni dello stesso VivoBook con pannello fullHD a qualche decina di euro in più, il mio consiglio è assolutamente quello di optare per uno di questi modelli.

Con il marchio Asus, l'azienda produce un'ampia gamma di prodotti, tra cui laptop, desktop, schede madri, schede grafiche, monitor, smartphone e apparecchiature di rete , sistemi completi e componenti PC per utenti finali.

Con il marchio ROG (Republic of Gamers), ASUS produce laptop da gioco conosciuti dai giocatori per le loro potenti specifiche, schede grafiche dedicate, display ad alta frequenza di aggiornamento e sistemi di raffreddamento avanzati.

Oltre ai giochi, viene offerta un'ampia gamma di notebook per esigenze e budget diversi, dagli ultrabook ultrasottili e leggeri ai versatili convertibili 2 in 1 e alle opzioni economiche. Nel 2023, Asus deteneva una quota di mercato globale del 7% del mercato dei PC.

La soddisfazione del cliente per i notebook ASUS riguarda le prestazioni, le caratteristiche e il buon rapporto prezzo-prestazioni dei notebook ASUS. Scheda grafica per laptop basata su Pascal GP108 e versione mobile della GeForce GT 1030. Offre 384 core shader e solitamente 2 GB GDDR5 con un bus di memoria a 64 bit. Realizzata in 14 nm.

Intel UHD Graphics 620:

GPU integrata (GT2, 24 EUs) si trova su alcuni modelli CPU Kaby-Lake-Refresh (15 W ULV series). Tecnicamente è identica alla precedente GPU Kaby-Lake chiamata HD Graphics 620.

Processore quad-core a bassa potenza basato sul Kaby-Lake-Refresh. I quattro core hanno un clock tra 1,6 e 3,4 GHz (Turbo Boost) e supportano l'HyperThreading. La GPU integrata ha un clock compreso tra 300 e 1.100 MHz. Il SoC è prodotto con un processo FinFET da 14 nm+.

i5-8550U:

Processore Kaby-Lake-Refresh basato su un processore quad-core low power. I quattro cores hanno un clock tra 1.8 e 4 GHz (Turbo Boost) e supportano l'HyperThreading. La GPU integrata ha un clock tra 300 e 1,150 MHz. Il SoC è realizzato in 14nm+ FinFET.

Intel Core i5:

Intel Core i7:

i7-8565U: Processore quad-core a bassa potenza basato su Whiskey Lake (tecnicamente identico al Kaby Lake ma prodotto in un processore a 14nm++ ulteriormente migliorato). I quattro core sono clockati tra 1,8 e 4,6 GHz (Turbo Boost) e supportano HyperThreading.
