One is that WiFi connectivity is intermittent—there’s a workaround that involves disabling Bluetooth support, but while I can live with that it’s not ideal for many people. Pricing is a second concern, and even at the now-reduced pricing I still feel the UX51VZ is priced a couple hundred dollars too high for most.

Asus have provided a measly 12-month guarantee free of charge; a warranty upgrade is recommended on a near-$2000 notebook – you should be able to get one at the store. Otherwise the Zenbook UX51VZ is an eminently capable machine.

But few though the cons may be, they could be reason enough to justify passing this system up. The machine verges on cost-prohibitive, especially considering the battery life isn't great and there's no touchscreen for interacting with Windows 8.

NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M: E' una GPU di fascia media e la GeForce GT più veloce della serie 600M.
Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

3612QM: Un processore quad-core Ivy Bridge-based con clock da 2.1 GHz con supporto Turbo Boost fino a 3.1 GHz. Offre una GPU HD Graphics 4000 integrata che gira a 650-1100 MHz su un controller di memoria dual channel DDR3.
