EN→ITI wanted to love the new Asus ROG Zephyrus G14, but it has one too many flaws. The display is a big thing for me, and the brightness killed my hopes instantly. I was less concerned about the graphics, but it’s sad to see that it doesn’t live up to some of its competitors. If you are willing to trade battery life, the Alienware m15 Ryzen Edition is a way better alternative for great performance and a bright display. However, you simply cannot beat the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14’s battery life, design, and bumpin’ speakers. It has its place for sure.

AMD Radeon RX 6800S:
Scheda grafica mobile di fascia alta basata su un chip Navi 23 (nuova architettura RDNA2) e prodotta nel moderno processo a 7nm. Offre 2.048 core (32 CU) e utilizza 12 GB di memoria grafica GDDR6. Il clock di gioco è specificato a 2 GHz a 100 Watt TDP. La 6800S è la variante a risparmio energetico della Radeon RX 6800M.
Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo. Specialmente i giochi impegnativi come Crysis, Age of Conan, o Mass Effect sono utilizzabili soltanto con impostazioni grafiche ridotte. I giochi meno pesanti (e più datati), come Fifa 08, Command & Conquer 3, o Battlefield 2142 possono essere giocati con livello di dettagli più alto.

APU mobile Octa-Core con core Zen 3+ con clock da 3,3 a 4,9 GHz e adattatore grafico RDNA2 con 12 CU con clock fino a 2.400 MHz. La variante HS offre un TDP inferiore di 10 W e quindi prestazioni sostenute inferiori rispetto alla versione HX.
