EN→ITThe Predator Helios Neo 16 isn't lacking in external connections, though, with ports on each side and also on the back edge. For starters, the power connector is located on the back, which is an arrangement I like because it means you can remain comfortably plugged in whether you're sitting to the left or right of the nearest outlet, and it keeps the cable out of the way on a desk. Also on the back are two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports and an HDMI port, so display and external storage cables won't add to desk clutter, either. Elsewhere, you get a USB-A port, an Ethernet jack, a combo audio port and a microSD card slot on the left and two more USB-A ports on the right edge. All things being equal -- and the list price for each is $1,200 for the RTX 4050 configs we tested -- the Predator Helios Neo 16 has the edge over the Nitro 16 for its faster frame rates, aluminum top cover and higher-resolution webcam.

EN→ITThe Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 sacrifices portability and a truly budget price in the name of additional power. While remaining relatively budget-friendly, this gaming laptop packs serious processing chops, and Acer optimizes its internals to deliver respectable 1080p (or 1200p) gameplay from an RTX 4050. Its keyboard and chassis design won't win it any awards, but its display is a cut above for the price. And you might find this model on sale, if you're lucky; that would make the whole package a borderline Editors' Choice pick for us, at $100 or $200 less. If you largely keep your laptop in one place, the Neo 16 is well worth considering. It's just that the Gigabyte Aorus 15 BMF is the surer budget bet.

Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo. Specialmente i giochi impegnativi come Crysis, Age of Conan, o Mass Effect sono utilizzabili soltanto con impostazioni grafiche ridotte. I giochi meno pesanti (e più datati), come Fifa 08, Command & Conquer 3, o Battlefield 2142 possono essere giocati con livello di dettagli più alto.
